The Vees decided to crash in on the gang’s beach fun. Especially Alastor Vox’s outfit is based on those SMTPE bars, Vel’s outfit is meant to allude to the vintage Barbie beach look & Val’s flowers are meant to allude to his flowers. 🌺 For their drinks, Vox has a Blue Hawaiian, Vel’s got a piña colada in a coconut & Val’s got a sex on the beach 🍹🥥 If ur wondering what happened to Val, he got some sunburn, got splashed & soaked by something in the Envy Ocean and a bird pooped in his drink…he usually enjoys the beach, but I guess the beach just didn’t like him🤣 not like the beach could be blamed for that.

Raphielle II interview that you didn't know about.

Okay I don't see many people talk about this interview. But I decided let's talk about it. Okay, if you don't know who Raphielle II is. He was a storyborder for hh/hb.

If you don't know why he's controversial it was because he was the one that storyborder poison. He's known for having a rape fetish. Not just that he also sh a minor. He was also well-known for shipping Valentino and Angel.

Now the beginning of the interview is just him hyping up Vivziepop. As well as how much he relates to Angel's character. Blah blah blah, you get the point. Now let's get to the part of the interview that makes me angry as hell.

He claims he checked the miner's profile that there was no age there. Okay even if he didn't know the minor's age. You don't talk to anyone on the internet you don't know inappropriately like that, no matter who they are. Because there are random people that you don't know.

Then later on in the interview, he victim blames the minor and detracts his apology. Which makes me want slam my head against the wall.

Now he claims that he ships, Angel and Valentino because of the dynamic. He claims the ship is a cnc when it's not. Because cnc usually involves. consenting adults. When people are in that dynamic, they establish boundaries and safewords.

With Valentino and Angel, that's not the case. Because Angel is being abused. Everything that happens with him is not consensual. Valentino is his abuser. This interview is not good. I would not recommend watching it. It downplay most of the claims against him. This interview is just hyping him up.

The State of Spindlehorse Panel

This isn't everything but the notable stuff I found to be interesting:

Sam said that she gets to "professionally bully" Skye who says she deserves it... which I hope they're just joking.

Skye mentioned she was inspired by Vivziepop. She tried to get on the show by submitting late. Later when a friend got on the show, Viv ignored her until she needed animators.

Viv's artistic inspirations are Tim Burton, Bruce Timm, Johen Vasquez, and Jim Davis in a blender with a sprinkling of Disney renaissance and Looney tunes.

Sam and Viv spent a couple of minutes thanking the cast and crew.

Poison and Angel Dust was/is very cathartic for Raph cuz she lived a controllng life growing up.

Raph gives 8 weeks for boards to be done.

Sam Miller is given 2 weeks to design everything.

They all known eachother for around 5 to 6 years.

The big announcement was they're expanding with a studio in Australia called Spindle Roo.

There is going to be a pilot based around Homestuck with Skye writing it and Toby Fox involved as both music and a cast member.

Ok, I wanna say something real quick because I'm a teeny tiny bit annoyed.

I understand the knee-jerk reaction to seeing that Vivziepop is gonna be involved with the Homestuck series considering that she really sucks but y'all need to understand something...

She is NOT writing it, she's only a producer.

The other thing to note that Spindleroo is the SISTER COMPANY of Spindlehorse that's set in Australia with a completely different set of people.

Also, acting like Toby Fox betrayed everyone just simply for being involved in the same project as her is kinda parasocial(I don't know if people are also saying this about Colleen, the voice actress of Tails but just in case people are saying this about her, the same applies for her too, relax).

Again, I'm aware that Viv is NOT a great person(trust me, I know) but acting like the series is gonna be doomed just because she's involved is very pessimistic, again, she's only a PRODUCER in the project, NOT a writer.

(Again, I 100% get your worries and concerns, don't fret, I'm aware.)

Another thing, apparently Hussie is also not great from what I've gathered(don't know what they did) but still, my point still stands.

I kindly suggest waiting until the pilot is out before you assume anything because chances are, it might be decent.

I know that's rich coming from me considering I know jack-shit about Homestuck but I still feel the need to point something out before it gets out of hand.

Also, I don't wanna see any "X if it was written by Vivziepop" memes coming out of this news because that meme is literally just spamming swears when the uncut and uncensored version of the South Park movie has more swears than the first season of Hazbin and another thing to add, there are more issues with the Hellaverse than the swearing(the swearing "issue" is personally a nothing burger to me) like, oh, I dunno...the inconsistentsies, the writing, the stereotypes, the distasteful "jokes", etc...

PLEASE keep all of this in mind as far as that upcoming pilot is concerned.

No, Jax Isn’t Gay (Or Consists of Any Canon Sexuality).

As someone on the LGBTQ+ spectrum, I have to argue that there’s nothing wrong with Jax being gay. People should be allowed to express themselves however they like. However, the amount of people that are using this vague reply to either be homophobic or to treat it as canon to put shippers down (such as FunnyBunny, Bunnydoll, and Ribbun) is not how we should behave about this manner.

As of now, his sexuality should be up to your preferred interpretation and not treated as something as canon, especially when Gooseworx is cracking a joke.

Plus, Gooseworx (as a trans woman) most likely wouldn’t simp over Jax, have saved/liked arts of him paired with female characters, has allowed the fandom and her cast members to ship her characters with whoever they want, and has shown a disinterest in confirming any kind of sexualities for her characters if he was confirmed to be attracted to only men. If Jax was canonically one way, I doubt the cast and (Goose herself) would have him be paired with various genders, especially women.

So, with all due respect, no Jax isn’t canonically gay unless Goose officially confirms it to be true. Jax is Jax and he’s whatever you want him to be, just like the rest of the characters. The only character that has a confirmed sexuality is Kinger, who was married to a woman. However, that doesn’t confirm that he’s straight unless said otherwise.
