“ i think we might be aiming for a spring wedding, ” lady said, with all the excitement of a giddy, giggly teenager. she knew ( hoped ) she and james wouldn’t make it to the actual wedding, but she couldn’t deny the planning stage was fun. “ i’m not sure, actually, this is mostly wishful thinking, ” she added with a giggle and a dismissive wave. “ a winter wedding feels rushed, and summer and fall colors don’t really suit me. ”

“I still can’t believe you’re getting married.” She exclaimed in shock, but with excitement laced in her tone. “I think you have to do what’s going to make the both of you the happiest in the long run. Don’t rush things, that’ll just make it forced and weird.” She gave the best advice her eighteen year old self could on the matter. “I think go for some cute winter themed engagement pictures but do a winter into spring wedding?” She suggested to the other.

“You can’t decide between them, you have to get both. Options are important. I wanna get aphie something to wear for christmas, but I don’t know if they make one small enough for him.” She explained with a pout, browsing the pet outfits herself.

“Okay, so when I was little, this is confidential by the way, I used to have this huge book of stickers, I’m pretty sure they were Dora The Explorer. One day when my mom had to pick up Atta from the bus stop, I had to go with her, and she came to get me and I was covered head to toe in the entire sticker book. I had to walk with her through the neighborhood to get her from the bus stop covered in stickers.”

“I can’t wait for the pie!” he agreed, heart already set on the pies his mom made specifically for the holiday. “It’s the only time I think turkey is an acceptable for a few days in a row… And then when I get sick of it, it’s just in time for the Christmas ham!” he pointed out. “Have you seen all the stuff they’ve announced for the parade? It looks so good.” 

“Oh it’s the only time I willingly eat turkey all year!” She spoke in agreement with her friend. “Don’t even get me started on Christmas. Get ready for all the ice skating.” She exclaimed, her smile widening. “No I haven’t! I usually just try to save it for a surprise in the morning.”

“Okay I know it’s early, but I can’t be the only one ready for Thanksgiving. I’m going to be in a food coma for weeks, plus the leftovers are the best part.” She explained, getting more excited by the second. “Plus, the parade! Oh my gosh the parade!” She exclaimed.
