i keep trying to draw me it keep trying to draw my kintype but it's weirdly vague I thought i figured it out I was like "oh wolfdogs and uh doberman so it's a wolf-doberman right?" and then it was like haha erm. haha. and I was like "dog? doggy?" and like yeah? then some friends were like "you remind me of maned wolf" and then I looked at those lanky guys and I looked at their silly proportions and it was like yessss, yessss and I was like "maned wolf?? melanistic maned wolf???" and it was like ........... and then I saw this image

and it went nuts and I was like "THAT IS A MELANISTIC MANED WOLF LIKE I SAID?!?!?!" and I was so confused but then I saw THIS IMAGE

and it went nuts again "wait... dog? dog thing? that thing is dog?" and it was like YES YES YES YES

so I guess I'm some sort of dog thing.

@kippyuvu The term you're looking for is trans species. Which is a subset of otherkin. There's some controversy about the term as some people dislike comparing it to being transgender. But I'm both and those people are being silly. It is a comparable experience to me.

I'm not really active on Tumblr anymore because I'm pissed off at them, but I'm still reading a few of my favorite blogs and wanted to weigh in.

So whatever I end up writing will be posted on dovewithscales.com and the associated forum.

Ok I have not got much of a answer of this online but. what would you call a person that would just like to be in a different body, not like getting fit or transitioning to another gender, but like a different species, like wishing thay had a robot body or a anthro dog body. I dont think the otherkin thing fits into this.

Idk if there's just a umbrella term for this??
