This is from cold: day five. Does anyone else sound as stuffed up as I do when they get a head cold?
When I have allergies, I go in and out of stuffiness, depending on how much my eyes water and how much I sneeze. When I get a cold like this, I’m always closed… Completely—- nose is out of business. It does one thing… create snot. I can’t taste anything. I can’t get any air into either nostril and I just blow it to try and find air.
At night I have to take nose drops because I have a problem with afrin. Old timey neosinefrin nose drops. Put my head back, take the dropper and squeeze two drops into each nostril… of course it is a little bit Acidic, goes down my throat and makes me sneeze… which starts the blowing and the sneezing and blowing on and on we go. Clown red nose and 2 chapped nostrils later and I begin to feel better.
But this sounds so awful to me. All plugged up and embarrassing. Sorry:@(======.

describing the snotty tissues as green and still warm is so hot. truly nothing better than opening up a freshly snotted tissue and knowing all that slime was just in someone’s cold ridden nose.
Yeah I’ve had my share of snotty tissue excavations. One of my favorites was the woman who was next-door to mine room when I worked in staff for a wealthy investor who traveled a lot. I can hear her cold…. Getting worse. I noticed box of tissues on Monday… And the honking blows starting. By Wednesday, the entire box was gone… And her waist paper basket was filled. Of course, when she went to lunch, I walked in quietly, picked up a lot of the tissues, and they were thick and slimy with green cold.
Needless to say within three days, I had a cold in the nose myself. Always happens.

Sleep Sneezing - where did these tissues come from?
As I’ve already mentioned here… I’m down with a lovely summer head cold. For me, if I don’t sleep, I get sicker and when my nose closes, I’m up sneezing and blowing all night. The cycle continues and I get worse and worse.
So last night, to get much needed rest—-I took some extra strength Mucinex and the strangest thing happened. I went to bed with my box of tissues, right next to me…about 1/4 full. The trashcan next to my bed full to the rim w cold loaded snot rags.
Eight hours later, after what felt like a very good nights sleep… I noticed tissues thrown all over my bed… All used and very snotty. The box was now empty - A quick tap of my nose and then a look in the mirror suggested I had been blowing all night. I was clown red and both nostrils were on fire from blowing without the usual care.
The weird part… I have no memory of sneezing or blowing my stuffed nose - not even once. I was that knocked out by whatever is in this new variety of cold meds.
In short… I was sleep sneezing!!! Is that even a thing?

Gotta summer cold!
For the 10th straight summer- Ive landed a beautiful cold in my nose. She had a full blown number her self - but it didn’t keep me from Kissing her red sore nose. Now here I am 4 days later - plugged up - sneezing every 15 minutes and stocking up on puffs for the 1000 blows to come. Was it worth it? Yup! Pic of the first blow! Well, the first blow where you tell yourself - “oh yeah, I gotta cold”. This one is pretty obvious.

The first sneezes of a fresh cold??
You know you’ve been around somebody with a terrible cold… there may have even been some spray or even a kiss goodbye??? Now it’s a crapshoot. Will you catch a cold or will you dodge the bullet? You know the drill… You go to bed feeling fine. You wake up with a sore throat and a tickle deep in your nose. Normally you sneeze maybe once or twice unless you’re having an allergy day… But today each sneeze indicates something is brewing. It’s 10 AM and I’m up to five already… What do you think?

Picking up a used tissue at work
Is this Too Gross? A colleague has decided to disregard protocol and come to work with a terrible, terrible snotty cold. She’s been blowing all day… Loudly proudly and super wetly.
Both of her nostrils are chapped, red and clearly sore to the touch… Thanks to the use of less than adequate Kleenex variants. The sounds of her sneezing and the blows make it impossible for me to relax and do my days work. Concentration is gone - more sneezing more blowing and my arousal is obvious. I’m so turned on and noting the ever growing pile of tissues filling her waist paper basket.
It’s been a while since I had a cold… Mostly just allergies in the summer. Should I take the chance?
Why not… Our friend leaves for lunch and there it is a beautiful fresh pile of snot receptacles. Green and still warm. I guess I’m gonna be sick in bed soon!
Worth it? Not worth it? What would you do?

As a man with a big nose with a tendency to catch heavy snotty colds therein…I particularly appreciate this situation. My nose reddens - my sneezing is loud or stifled into a tissue- my voice roughens and every word sounds like it passes thru a liter of mucus packed in my sinus. So yes I’m hyper aware of my big nose- how swollen red it gets from my colds and how obvious it is for the world to see that I’m sick and should be warm and in bed with soup a hanky and nose drops to clear the way. Sharing is caring - so having a loved special person there to hand me a tissue - blow for me and rub cream into my so so sore nostrils is a dream and a joy.
That person that has a big nose and knows it so when they catch a bad cold, they are hyper aware of it. How their large nose and nostrils get red and sore. How when they feel that tickle they know will make them sneeze, they just let them out in helpless dramatic fashion. When they blow their nose, it sounds extra gurgly and thick. And they think to themselves how they wish they had a partner that understood how they and their big sore cold filled nose needs to be cared for.

Always stay in bed when you feel a sniffle “cubbing od”.
Another early cartoon that made me feel— umm funny. Thank you Kleenex for the lesson rarely learned… Don’t go out with a cold brewing.
Frankly, This is exactly how I tend to catch cold. I overdo it and despite feeling a sore throat or a nose tickle…I go out or to work. I’m pretty much this guy. I push it and end up in bed with a swollen shut nose and a nasally voice.
How about you - do you usually feel your colds come on or do they hit you all at once.
For me I can always tell I’m gonna be up in the nose in a few days. I just never listen to the signs…like our friend with the red schnozole!

wow your snz wavs are really incredible. I love the way you narrate and talk to yourself through the scenario, and your strong sneezes are amazing. Would you be willing to try a scenario with more stifles? Your stifles are a really nice treat.
Flowers? What a N-n-nice G-gift! (f)
If anyone is a fan of scenarios that descend into a lot of sneeziness towards the end of a wav/after holding back or stifling for a period of time, you’ll love this one!
I couldn’t let out any large, powerful sneezes in the restaurant, especially not in front of the waiter. The timing couldn’t have been more inconvenient. The flowers couldn’t have been more allergy-inducing. All I could do was sneeze, making me forget almost entirely I was meant to be narrating!
There is also (in my personal opinion) one of my favorite types of tickles in this wav. It’s the tickle in which your nose is so consumed that you want for a noseblow to rid your nostrils of the itch, but it doesn’t work as usual. Despite efforts to disturb whatever attacks your nose, the tickle persists. There’s hitching into a noseblow, then directly afterwards, you’re straight into another sneeze. Very exciting to both experience and listen to as… leisure.
Enjoy this stifle-fest of a scenario :)

My Kingdom for a Tissue
Such a bad nose day. I’ve been sneezing non-stop, my nose a leaky, runny mess, and I’ve been reduced to blowing into an old t-shirt. Whether it’s allergies or a cold creeping in, something’s got my nose a goin!
I went to see an empty apartment—dust everywhere—and of course, my nose went into overdrive. I sneezed ten times in a row, walking around with that pre-sneeze tickle of doom. At one point, I literally had to pinch my nose closed, feeling the imminent eruption of a snot volcano.
And then it happened: “Ehhhhh-ehhhh-hapummmpphhh!”—right into my hand. Disaster. No tissue, no napkin, no hanky—just me, my sniffles, and a gooey mess of viscosity. I dashed to the bathroom. Empty. No toilet paper. Ehhhhh… ehhhhhh…another one - a big sneeze under construction.
I stood there, finger under my nose like a human dam, trying to hold back the tide. “A doze id deed in deed…” I muttered, barely coherent.
Then—salvation. I opened a closet and voilà! A stack of soft, glorious tissues, waiting like a gift from the nasal gods. I blew and blew and blew, even sneezed into a third tissue just in case. My poor, stuffed nose finally cleared, open for business once again.
Whoever stocked that closet… bless them. They must’ve known a sneezy soul was on the way.

First sneeze of the day. With a little blow and show at the end. Note the snotty spray…just hope I’m not coming down with something. Don’t need a nose cold right now!

Hey Hey! If you want to write them I would love to hear about times when you caught colds and knew who the exact person was that got you sick with it :-) It makes me very happy when you tell the story of how you got sick in a wav. Thank you for the wavs and storys!
Oh my goodness - I have always been very prone to terrible head colds… and they always hit me at the change of seasons and before I go on vacation. Can’t tell you how many times I have had a snotty green nose kid sneeze on me and like clock- Work four days later my nose will buried in this tissue …within six days chapped and red from blowing. Girlfriends who are sick with colds who gave them to me… People at work who’s grabbed the tissue off my desk… I always have lots of tissues nearby for a quick sneeze… Who just happened to touch my desk within a few days, I’d be down with a cold…, Lousy immune systems means very very snotty and nosy colds

(END) FINALLY She Caught a Cold (F) classes came and went—and it was lunchtime. No class in mid day just the student union for some grub. And again - there she was - Poor Julie was really suffering by now . We sat at different tables that day, but it was obvious she should’ve been home in bed, tending to her nose. The redness had deepened—now a dark magenta spreading along both nostrils.
From my seat in front of her, I could hear her sneeze. It was a new sound to me—somehow striking, almost beautiful, though also deeply sad. I felt bad for her.
When I turned around and mouthed, “Are you OK?” she shook her head and gave a clear no, tapping her left nostril with her finger. Things had clearly taken a turn. She’d stopped using tissues and moved on to the rough brown paper towels from the rest room. Then came another sneeze—and a loud, wet blow, thick, goopy - nasal viscosity only a cold will produce.
I watched as she took out her Afrin bottle, tilted her head back, and gave each nostril two long, desperate sniffles. Some relief followed—or at least enough to get her through the next class.
The day dragged on. If sneezing and blowing your nose in front of your college mates wasn’t bad enough, Julie still had to sit through our college government assembly. I turned around again and said, “I can’t believe you’re still here. Please, just go home and rest.” The room was silent and her sniffles were audible to all. Then the sneeze into her wet paper towel. And another and the masking of a wet blow to follow. Her nose was now entirely red form her lip to bridge on both side. Poor thing. But as bad as I felt - my arousal was clear for anyone who might care to see. I guess no one ever seemed surprised by tight pants back then - let alone the obvious swelling there in. Another sneeze and I whispered. “Health Ctr time, maybe?” She whispered back. “I literally haven’t stopped blowing since I saw you this am. Still think the nose is cute?” Oh yes I certainly did!
She smiled weakly and said my favorite line: “It’s just a cold in the nose.” Then another nostril tap, a half-stifled sneeze, and a soggy wipe with one of those brown paper towels.
The day eventually ended, and so did the worst of Julie’s cold—she stayed home for three days to recover.
She came back on Friday—surprisingly, not taking the extra day for the weekend. Her nose was dry and chapped, and she still spoke through the congestion, though the constant running had stopped. The sneezing had slowed, and she now carried a little cream to soothe the raw skin around her nostrils.
That first cold, that first sneeze—somehow, those memories have stayed with me for life. They stirred something in me, something I didn’t fully understand then.
Of course, by the next week, I had my own cold—earned, I suppose, from a few too many of her passed-off, snot-soaked tissues.
Was it worth it? The sneezing, the late-night nose care, the stuffiness?
Absolutely—without question.

Here’s from the first day from fresh cold about four months ago… I was overworked and my immune system failed me as often happens when the seasons change. Needless to say it was a major blow fest by the end.
