“I hate it too.” the dragon pressed a hand to his face, “all these Damn memories, they’re suffocating me, but I can’t get rid of them, they’re everything to me, the most precious thing in my life, it’s killing me.” he laughed, “And nothing can kill me. I’m slowly wasting away for an eternity. I’ll never fully be gone, but being this shell is so much worse than death.”

The dragon let out a wry laugh, “you don’t understand. I look in the mirror and I don’t recognize myself. sometimes the whole world dissolves and I’m in some old place, some old time. It’s not just you I forget Claus, it’s never been just you...”
