Dragonstone is a castle on the island of the same name at the entrance to Blackwater Bay, below the Dragonmont. It was the original seat of House Targaryen in Westeros, and had been colonised and fortified as the westernmost outpost of the Valyrian Freehold. Shaped from stone to look like dragons, the castle has a dark reputation. Though old and strong, it commands the allegiance of only a few lesser lords whose islands are too thinly populated to provide any great numbers of troops, although they have some naval strength. A short distance west of Dragonstone is the island of Driftmark, which is the seat of House Velaryon, a Valyrian house and historically a naval power. After Aegon’s Conquest of the Seven Kingdoms, Dragonstone in the newly-created crown-lands served as the seat of their heir, known as the Prince of Dragonstone.

Cirilla - A Grain of Truth

Visenya Targaryen, geb. 129 AC, ist das jüngste Kind und die einzige Tochter von Prinzessin Rhaenyra und Prinz Daemon. Sie ist die Schwester von Aegon lll und Viserys ll Targaryen. Sie ist auch die Halbschwester von Jacaerys, Lucerys und Gottfrid Velaryon, mütterlicherseits und Rhaena und Baela Targaryen, väterlicherseits.

Ganz nach der Tradition wurde ihr ein Drachenei in die Wiege gelegt, welches zu ihrem achten Lebensjahr schlüpfte. Sie nannte ihren Drachen Daemax.
