Hazy Daze, by MiniBrew (Part 2)
Hazy Daze, by MiniBrew (Part 2). My first brew with MiniBrew. Lets see how it turned out
I recently began brewing my first beer with MiniBrew.I found the machine very easy to use, but by no means was my first brew textbook perfect. I had some teething issues with my CO2 cartridges and the beer remained at a slightly higher than desirable temperature for the first 24 hours of fermentation (I didn’t realise I was dry hopping the El Dorado and Mosiac hops straight away, I was expecting…

The Wild Beer Co (on The Sub)
Recently there has been a significant increase to The Sub’s torp selection. A number of new beers have become available, greatly increasing the variety of beers compatible with this home draught appliance. Some of the new breweries that have come on board are fantastic – such as The Wild Beer Co. For information on The Sub (Compact) devices, check out here.
I’ve sampled 2 new beers on The Sub…

Craft Expansion on The Sub
Craft Expansion on The Sub
The Sub has continued to expand the torp range. Unfortunately, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the supply and variety on Beerwulf’s site has been limited, so if you are thinking about placing an order, keep a close eye on their stock on a daily basis and order when the selection is right for you! Having had beers from Uiltje Brewing Company, based in the Netherlands, my favourite being Monster IIIPA

MiniBrew - Part 1
MiniBrew - Part 1, Dr Beer brewing on his new all in one brewing machine
Happy birthday to me!
For my 28th, I asked for money from my relatives – the reason being “MiniBrew”. MiniBrew is an “all-in-one” brewing device with smartphone capability. I’ve had a few shots at brewing including;
Brew in a bag
Home brew in a glass fermentation kit
2 x brew days at local breweries on kettle devices
Given my work commitments and love of technology, the thought of a…

Another BrewDog beer, but this time, it’s from their Overworks facility – a purpose built brewery specialising in wild and sour brews, with a team that are keen to push the boundaries with brewing. Campfure cult gives the description of enjoying smores at a campfire. My alcohol evolved sweet-tooth is intrigued!

S43 Brewery
S43 Brewery, a brewery undergoing an evolutionary change, which ultimately involves new brews! Check out this IPA mix
I know that one shouldn’t judge a beer by the label, but it is hard not to be swayed by this set of beers. The entire range has the most colourful can designs that I’ve seen in quite some time: they are striking and jump off the shelf, encouraging any passer-by to have a closer look… Then, upon further inspection, each beer has a playful synopsis, giving the beer a depth of character, even before…
