Introducing: Riva Giroux, the Ultimate Art Critic!

Riva has a silent air of pretentiousness to her. Many would call her snooty, but she prefers to call herself refined. She is used to the upper class life and has a taste for the finer things.

Riva always carries a flask of rosé with her and prefers to never be sober. Though this draws concern from many, she claims she better utilizes her talent when under the influence.

Pronouns: She/Her

Likes: High Fashion, Aquariums

Dislikes: Poor Taste

Background: The Giroux family have always been renowned art critics. Because of this, they were entrusted with many great artworks to be kept safe during the tragedy. The Giroux mansion became a perpetual party with people of high status. Riva was surrounded by this merriment, and reveled in it throughout her childhood and early adolescence. It was during this time when she had her first drink. In her drunkenness, she approached the work her parents had on display and analyzed it with the eye and eloquence of a seasoned critic. Everyone there found it to be incredible entertainment, praising her skills. She eventually found herself doing that every night, getting her a lot of positive attention. Even after the tragedy, Riva's parents continued to have her drink and ramble nightly, treating them as some sort of show. This and the Giroux family's help to reconstruct France caught the attention of the future foundation, and Riva was scouted as the Ultimate Art Critic.

"I am the Mighty Boris! Beware! For I am a man to be feared!"

Introducing: Boris Vinogradov, The Ultimate Fencer!

Boris is a cocky guy, but he has the skills to back up his words. He can win any battle put in front of him.

Boris takes great pride in his title and the many stories he tells about himself. Are any of these stories true? Nobody knows, but would you really doubt a man like Boris?

Height: 173 cm

Likes: Mafia Movies, Swords

Dislikes: Kangaroos

Background: As a kid, Boris was a stereotypical playground bully, always picking fights he couldn't finish. One day, a teacher got sick of Boris's behavior and decided to...handle him himself. This event filled Boris with more rage than he ever had before, and he decided to find an outlet. This outlet was fencing. His coach has said he's "never seen such an angry child be so good at fencing." Boris was even set to go to the Olympics before, for reasons he did not know, it was cancelled. His prowess got noticed by those scouting for the New Hope's Peak Academy, and he was invited to be the Ultimate Fencer.

Introducing: Fushigi Akarui, the Super High School Level... Huh?

How interesting! It seems Fushigi has forgotten her talent!

Fushigi is quiet and mysterious, trying her best to simply observe. Though sometimes she cannot keep herself out of the spotlight. When this happens, she can become quite positive and spirited.

Fushigi does not think of herself as anything special, and cannot fathom any possible talent Hope's Peak might have assigned her.

Dislikes: Negativity

Background: Fushigi led a fairly normal life before the tragedy. She had good parents, did well in school, everything that could be considered normal. Her life was even somewhat normal during the tragedy, though no one really knew how her family survived. She clearly remembers watching Makoto Naegi's speech announcing the end of the tragedy and the beginning of reconstruction efforts...and that's where her memory fails her. Any memories she does have from that point on are hazy. A school, fuzzy faces, an acceptance letter, the gates of the New Hope's Peak Academy. Anything beyond that is a complete and utter mystery.

Introducing: Daniel Teyber, the Ultimate Model!

Daniel has always been described as cute, adorable, and absolutely darling. It seems like everything about him is perfectly engineered to make him the most loveable person on earth.

Despite this, he stays humble. He thinks of himself as a normal person, not above anyone else.

Pronouns: He/It

Height: 167 cm

Likes: Cats, Bubble Baths

Dislikes: Long Silences

Background: Daniel was on magazine covers before he could even walk. His mother was big in showbusiness and carefully cultivated his image from the moment he was born. Daniel was a great success, bringing a lot more acclaim and wealth to his family. When the tragedy began, he was locked away and kept perfectly safe. It was boring, but hey, at least he was kept out of the way. When he was released at the Tragedy's end, he became a symbol of peace and a return to normalcy in Germany. He revitalized interest in fashion and the reputation of fashion magazines, especially Sweetheart Pink. With all of this, it seemed like a given that he would be invited to Hope's Peak as the Ultimate Model.

~ Hisomu INSISTS that their hair is brown, even though people often tell them they're a dirty blonde.

~ Katsumi's favorite animal is housecats, specifically orange ones!

~ Boris always carries his rapier with him. He's ready for battle at any moment!

~ Dento has nicknames for each of his classmates.

~ The magazine that Daniel does most of his modeling for is called Sweetheart Pink.

~ Riva's nickname before coming to Hope's Peak was "Licorne".

~ Ichiko gives themself readings before big life events, such as going to Hope's Peak.

~ Though Kaho's title is the Super High School Level Gardner, she is a very talented botanist as well.

~ Emmett is the youngest member of the Despair's Flame cast, having skipped a few grades.

~ All of Ixia's family members are named after flowers and trees.

~ Sae is not just a puppeteer. She makes all of her puppets by hand, as it's the only way she can assure the best quality!

~ Mona has a particular fondness for ancient Egypt. She finds the sites there to be the most interesting.

~ Atlas has lived in three different countries and just visited two others. He's very well traveled!

~ Hugo has a tattoo on his right arm in honor of his grandfather.

who in the cast is the most sleep deprived?

Probably Fushigi or Ichiko. Fushigi's eyebags are partially the result of lack of sleep, and Ichiko would find it difficult to sleep in a situation like this.

when your characters roast marshmallows, who would burn their marshmallow to a crisp and eat it like it was nothing? (maybe while it was still on fire)

Hensoku definitely. His is completely burned on the outside and a hot gooey mess in the middle.

Boris too. He'd probably try to eat it while it was on fire to show how tough he is.

And finally, Daniel. He'd be taking the daintiest little bites of a marshmallow that looked like it was burned in the flames of hell itself.

On the other hand, Emmett would try to get it a perfect golden brown and get pissed if even a little bit of it caught on fire.
