I mean for all the problems with the term “organic,” at least it refers to a real difference in how the food was grown that could have effects on your diet. “GMO free” is a complete scam, there are no negative health effects to GMOs, and the term describes and any piece of corn that’s been bred to be slightly less disease-prone than other corn. Advertisers include “GMO free” on a label the same way they might include “100% free of death crystals!” Like oh wow honey, this cereal says it doesn’t have any death crystals, I guess that must be a real problem other cereals have!
