Summer games are BACK!
Do you like summer? Would you like games? If that's the case, you'll be delighted with Overwatch's Summer Games events returning on August 9th.
Lucio Ball will, as always, be front and center. The statement from Blizzard has everybody's favourite DJ engaging in a rousing round of Lucio Ball, but we can also expect a round of new skins along with the event. The first year of Lucio Ball gave us Olympics themed skins, and also the next year awarded personalities more generically summertime based appearances, such as a Widowmaker skin where her visor is replaced with some snazzy colors.
The action inside this year's Summer Games will be happening in Busan Stadium, Korea. We may also get a rules modification to keep the action in the match mode fresh and aggressive.
We can expect further details about the Summer Games occasion in the coming days. All makeup from the previous two years will be unlocked at a discount price, along with some fresh goodies.

Summer games | Supports
The supports of Overwatch are going to be seeing some minor balance changes in an upcoming patch. Geoff Goodman, one of those Overwatchprogrammers, took on the forums to lose some amounts for players, providing a heads up on how things will change.
Mercy and Brigitte will probably be visiting a few nerfs, which ought to surprise nobody. Mercy's healing ray will now heal 17 percent , to keep her from being a must-pick in every game. Brigitte's Shield Bash is becoming one second added into the timer, making it a full seven seconds. That may not seem like much, but considering her ability to dominate the match now, it's a step in the ideal direction.
The rest of the healers -- except for Zenyatta, who Goodman describes as being in a"good spot" -- are visiting a few buffs to make them competitive.
Lucio's Audio Barrier shield has become 750 rather than 500, meaning it can tank some strong ultimates like RIP Tire without moving down. His healing and speed tunes now have a larger range of effect as well.
Moira's shift is really easy, allowing her to regain her healing resource 20% faster. This should keep Moira players from feeling completely drained of any recovery ability if not in a struggle.
Finally, Ana gets the most interesting change to her kit. Nano Boost will instantly heal the target for 300 HP. The goal here would be to provide Ana players a few more options to make. Do you want it to be a fast save or a big damage increase? If you time the ability well, it might be both.

Overwatch All-Start | New info
The first Overwatch League All-Star Weekend is fast approaching, and will take place over two weeks. Saturday, August 25th will be a day of pleasure face-offs in custom games, although the 26th will be committed to some head to head All-Star game between the Atlantic and Pacific divisions.
Saturday will be hosting the following events:
Lucioball Showdown
Tired of regular Overwatch combat? You'll love this 3v3 collection, performed in a best of three format. The professionals will take to Busan Stadium and try to out-boop every other. Each map lasts five minutes; when the teams are tied, they input abrupt death and the next goal wins.
Who wants the meta game? The Atlantic and Pacific teams will compete in a conventional competitive match... except their heroes will be randomly chosen upon the game start, and on respawn. The Professionals will battle against the two RNG and for dominance on Ilios, Lijiang Tower, and Nepal.
Widowmaker 1v1
Each branch will select their four finest Widowmaker players. These players will go head-to-head in snipe offs, together with the very first to achieve five kills winning. Eventually, only two players will stay, one from each branch. The final Widowmaker battle will likely be first to seven eliminations.
Eliminations are headshot just, no automated fire. No capture points, zero payloads, and a draw will be declared after five minutes. After 30 seconds, every Widowmaker can see another one on the map. There is no room to hide in this showdown.
Talent Takedown
The Pacific and Atlantic coaches will draft two groups of casters and analysts, who will confront at a 6v6 best-of-three series. The first map will be King's Row, the second map is going to be chosen by the team who is down a stage, and if the string is tied 1-1, the action moves to Busan Stadium to get Lucioball. The Overwatch casters and analysts not playing will be on the desk using Overwatch League players. This series needs to be a complete blast.
Whenever there's no motive without a payload, you just gotta get down to business. Lockout removal is about killing the other team before they can kill you. This is going to be a best-of-three series played out on Oasis University, Necropolis, and Castillo.
