My second hunter oc. Very space cowboy. Spent so long deciding on the armor design and I really like how it turned out. So have some of my thought process tyvm

Was initially like hmmm edgy cowboy yes

And then I saw some matadors

And then Orville Peck. And then I got very distracted looking at Orville Peck shhhh

So I wound up w most of the silhouette that way.

Smaller details:

-the belt is supposed to have spiders symbol but I fucked it up lmao

-the pattern on the poncho is simplified but it's very inspired by Osage ribbonwork

bc that's my stepdad's tribe :) ty

-they do wear a cowboy hat sometimes tyvm

-it gets cut off but they've got cowboy boots bc. They are a need tyvm.

-the knife on their chest was a gift from elsie bray when they mastered stasis :)

It's the last week of brain injury awareness month, and as your local TBI patient I figure I might as well use my small platform here to ask the D2 community to donate to the brain injury association of america.

My audience is still fairly small, but if all my followers pitched in just 5$ that would still be 760$. Even that much is substantial.

The research & outreach that they/their equivalents do is extremely important. I owe them so much for the work they do, as do so many other people. And there is still work to be done, always. If you have the money and the time, please pitch in.

If you can't afford to, that's fine. No judgement, no pressure. But if you're in the US, Congress is brushing us over and the BIAA has a list of ways you can help that take less that 10 minutes.

The least you can do is be informed. I can tell you, any brain injury patient you meet will appreciate it. We're far too used to having to explain everything from the ground up, or counter misinformation. Take the time out of your day.

I'm wrapped in with a lot of those statistics. I'll save y'all the details, but trust me when I say it's more than just numbers. Y'all know me well enough. I'm in those numbers. I'm permanently disabled from my TBI. Humanize it.

I'm not as good of a resource on other forms of brain injury. I speak from experience, and no two are the same. That said, there are plenty of resources out there if you have the interest & the time. Especially from the BIAA!!

So here's my fundraiser again. Pass it around. Find out what's most relevant, if you're in another country- but science goes beyond borders. Research happening anywhere helps all of us.
