one of the things I really like about Battle Tower Leon is how he incorporated elements of his old Champion persona and look into this new phase of his life. just from the simple thing of wearing the red top that matches the red cape that he used to wear, and holding his cap in his hand, not letting his crown rest on his head but just holding it

but the thing I love most is Leon covers his face with his hat before the battle. it's such a departure from his face being the focal point of of his time as Champion, since it was what people looked at as a symbol of strength and such. getting to do that is just such a step in a different direction for him, and while we don't get to see where that leads him, it's nice to know he's heading somewhere on his own terms

also look at him he just looks so mischievous, up to no good. I love it
