Like my avatar says, yes, I'm unashamedly a shipper and consume & try to produce art and writing for my favored ships. My first love was Disney Ducks (comics) I LOVE the Flintheart Glomgold of Barks, Don Rosa and Pat & Carol McGreal & mostly everything ending up here on Tumblr or our version of the Italian Topolino and German Taschenbuch (sorry if I botched that). -------------------------------------------------- Scromgold is my number one favorite pairing from duckverse, Dimeshipping coming close second. Then there is the obvious Naruto (OroJira, OroTsuna, third war era Orochimaru/Hatake Sakumo in general is an interesting AU) -------------------------------------------------- Now that we get to Harry Potter, a public service announcement: don't kill me for this, I don't share the author's views on anything. Lumione, Dramione, Tomione, Volmione, Sevmione, Tom/Harry, Drarry. -------------------------------------------------- Ralph Fiennes & Jason Isaacson are just damn fine men. -------------------------------------------------- I'm generally more into bad guys, my first crush was the Phantom Blot or Macchia Nera and I still think he is hot as hell. So this is me, dog lover & owner, lover of the sea and watersports, also comics, ships of the non-sea variety, arts and crafts, current BBA student trying to get my thesis done.

Text
Scrooge: "Can you really be so heartless? How do you sleep at night with such a wicked deed on your conscience?"

Flinty panel 1: "Bah! It's their problem, not mine."
Flinty panel 2: "I mean... it is a pity and all... but..."
Flinty panel 3: Flinty finds that no, he wouldn't be able to sleep peacefully with having condemned a planet of people to suffering forever, "Urg, cursed conscience."
I just wanted to say I find these panels including the whole comic a Flinty and/or Scromgold fan's dream, the Finnish name is "Varjojen mailla" or "In the Land of the Shadows", written by Pat & Carol McGreal and drawn by Rodriguez (2020).
The comic has Flinty as an antihero or one of the main protagonists. The horrors start after Flinty bought a strange and really expensive gizmo full of unknown technology in an auction in Duckburg. He realizes quickly that shadowy creatures are after his investment and runs to "the nearest place with a somewhat safe feeling... to your (Scrooge's) Money Bin." which is how this horror/dystopian adventure starts.
Before the three panels above, it's Scrooge doing the initial convincing Flinty to let the object worth of billions go to save a population living in despair, Domum.
Scrooge: "Can you really be so heartless? How do you sleep at night with such a wicked deed on your conscience?"
Flinty's three panels after that:
Flinty panel 1: "Bah! It's their problem, not mine."
Flinty panel 2: "I mean... it is a pity... but..."
And Flinty finds that no, he can't, "Ugh, cursed conscience." Is what the last panel says. Scrooge claps the Flinty to the back, trying to console him losing "a small fortune". He is smiling, telling Flinty "The better you won over at the last minute. It just needed a little waking up."
This in turn moves the Technology Tyrant to try and not destroy earth in the process. This moment makes it one of my favorite comics because of the Scromgold action, horror/dystopian vibes, lots of facial shots of Flinty, seeing such different emotions on his face than what we have been used to. Also, Flinty is kind of the antihero in this one. It's my dream come true, basically!
