How did you find out about NightError or Undertale?

Okay soo Mod Dream is inactive, BUT I feel bad you never got an answer, so ill just try and answer myself (other mods, feel free to do so)I found Undertale because it was all over the place. I wasnt motivated to check it out though until Game Theory talked about it and said I should play it before watching the video, so I did just that. Ds Nighterror...? Just Kai's blog! I was looking for new AUs and hooked onto Dreamswap, and fell in love with the dynamic Night and Error have, especially in the story about Error's confrontation with Blue. As a person with haphephobia (that thankfully is not nearly as severe now but at the time was pretty bad), seeing Error have someone to help him spoke very personally to me. -Mod Cross

Two skeletons sat on the couch, snuggling together as they watch the credits to a cheesy movie roll. Nearby, their best friend, Cross, lets out an exasperated sigh."I told you two, this is a masterpiece! You just don't get it!" he cries out, gesturing towards the television. Nightmare chuckles in reply, shooting a snide look at his best friend. "No, we get it," he remarks, "you're just objectively wrong. I told you I should have picked." The purple guardian sticks his tongue out to finish the thought. Cross grumbles and rises to his feet, shuffling up the stairs to their home. "Fine, I'm heading for bed. Good night, you two."As the couple sitting on the couch says goodnight and listens to the footsteps fade away, they do nothing but let a silence fall between them. It stays there for quite a while, before a chuckle from the smaller skeleton breaks it. "Hey, we're actually alone for once," he comments, leaning onto his boyfriend while wrapping his arms around him gently. Error, in response, smiles down at him, leaning in as well."Yeah, seems so."Nightmare looks up at him with wide eyes and a very mischievous expression. "Do you think you could give me a kiss, Stringbean?"Error nods in reply with a kind smile, pulling himself away anf standing up before heading into the kitchen. By the time he returns, Nightmare looks confused, and even a little disappointed. Error sits next to him, handing him a chocolate and tilting his head. "You alright?"Nightmare strings and pops the chocolate into his mouth. "Yeah, I am, I guess I just wasn't clear that I wasn't talking about chocolate, is all. "A smirk now appears on Error's face. "It's not too late to fix the mistake," he comments, leaning down to leave a gentle peck on Night's cheek. The guardian becomes flushed in response. "I guess so," he purrs back, leaning in for another.

You stretch and yawn, shuffling out of bed with a groan, not quite ready to face the early sunlight of the morning. A little ways away, you can hear your best friend Cross shifting in his sleep. You consider waking up to share the pain of the early morning grogginess with him, but decide against it in the end. Instead, you make your way out of your room, stopping suddenly at the sight of a guard standing right outside of your room.You glance over at the unexpected presence, finding yourself with a familiar face. Oh no, this asshole. What was his name again? You’re pretty sure it was Error. You had never said much to the guy, having only seen him around a few times since moving in with Dream. However, you could just tell this guy was a proud supporter of all the Justice Reigns stood for. You, on the other hand, had some issues with said ideals.The guard casts a look at you, noticing your prolonged glares. Damn, you hoped he wouldn’t notice. He turns to you, looking you up and down with a certain caution. “Lord Dreams brother, correct?” he inquires, “I was told to watch your room.”“Why, still afraid I’ll shake things up a little?” you sneer back, not appreciating the high attention to the security of your dwelling. The guard seems to notice your resentment, and responds with a barbed tongue of his own.“Why yes, especially since ‘little’ seems to be fitting of you. I’m only doing my job, so if you must have such a sour attitude, I’d advise taking is up with your brother.” he remarks, staring straight ahead, unfazed by your hostility.You storm off, a bad start already to your day. Great, living in a castle that already hates you. Fantastic. Though the more you thought about it, the more you came to appreciate the cleverness of the asshole. At least he was an interesting, if not somewhat irritating, start to your day. For a brief moment, you hope that he is assigned to your room again soon.
