On the first day I got the camera, I went to a nearby shed and figured it has so many things I can photograph. A friend said that my ISO was too high in the previous photo, so I went with the recommended 100 ISO. Since I had no idea what I was doing, I set the f-stop too high, so my background is not blurry and now it feels too busy. If I had to take this photo again, I would set a higher aperture to get a blurry background. Also you can see how blown out it is in the raw photo, so I used lightroom to get back some detail and give a rustic feel to the photo. https://www.instagram.com/p/B88qL--Ji6F/?igshid=xdx4yyuqt06e

Today I learned about the importance of post-production.
I'm still not used to setting the camera up, so my photo is definitely under-exposed.
I installed Lightroom through Creative Cloud and used it to give life to my shitty photo!
However there's a bunch of noise since the ISO was super high, and because the photo is brightened further in post-production, but this is one of my first shots and post-production made an improvement.

Just got my first camera! Super excited for what's ahead!
I'm new to this stuff, only shot photos with my phone previously, and I've been wanting to get better gear for a few years but always hesitated to make the purchase.
Now I'm here! And I decided to share my learning journey, from zero to hopefully something, with all of you.
My aim is to learn from your feedback and posts, and to share what I learn, hoping to learn and teach (from the little I know) at the same time. It's all about sharing.
Let's see where this leads!
