HEY TUMBLR, SPREAD THE WORD!

So, it’s a Tuesday. Something terrible has happened to Olan, the creator of a cartoon called Final Space. He isn’t dead, but something he’s put his heart and soul into has been torn apart by the recent Tennessee Tornado disaster.

The Soda Parlor, something he and his wife put so much passion into (and has even been referenced in Final Space itself), was torn apart by the tornado, to the point where the building itself is completely unstable and has to be condemned. The place itself was even looted afterwards, which is honestly pretty messed up.

However, Olan’s made a gofundme to build the Soda Parlor back up, and get it on it’s feet.

As of now (4 hours after he made the gofundme), people have raised almost 13K for the place, which is pretty amazing, right? So I’m encouraging you guys, whether you’re in the Final Space fandom or not, to support Olan’s gofundme! As Olan said in an actual news article that covered the situation:

"I don’t know how long of a road we have ahead of us. I don’t know the obstacles we have a head of us," said owner Olan Rogers. "I don’t know when we will get these insurance funds. I don’t know the maximum extent of the damage. It’s day one for everyone."

So with that, I encourage everyone to please support this and help bring the Soda Parlor to life again! Please donate if you’re able to, because every dollar counts!!
