Simon and Evelyn
They met when they were very young. These two came from two powerful mafia families, and because of this they were promised to each other, forced to be so close that it ruined their sense of boundaries when it came to the other. Luckily, their parents died before they could force them into an arranged marriage. But, although they never fell in love (both being homosexual), Evelyn can now be found on Simon’s lap during meetings as she whispers about cargo or which rival needs to removed. Others mistake their closeness for a relationship, but in truth they are trauma bonded and don’t know how to properly distinguish platonic from romantic intimacy.

better explanation on my headcanon:
so the fount of knowledge once had star freckles all over his face as much as his body, matching his naturally glittering hair.
however, during corruption he was robbed of the constellations on his face as the symbol on his forehead had been moved over his eye. painting him as a fool.
so now shadow milk doesn't have the star freckles on his face. however the ones on his body weren't removed since no one would ever see them anyway under the jester outfit. he now sees them as a cursed reminder of what he once was.
