So this one's kinda personal,,, I dont love myself, to say the least. It has always been like that, I remember wanting to be anybody but myself or to disappear at a very young age. And recently I've noticed this thing that really scared me: when I look at photos of myself as a child (starting from those where Im about 4 years old) I have this weird, almost subconscious desire to beat the child on the photo, slap it in the face or like... just shut it up. I don't know if other people have this, it's really disturbing uhhhh anyways this artwork is basically me projecting lmao. I don't know. I think that Maul, being raised by Sheevy boy, really hates himself to a horrifying extent

Considering the current state of the franchise, I don't have any high hopes for this show, but I'm sure Sam Witwer will be amazing as usual. In fact, for me personally, the ideal show about Maul would not be about how he does stuff after the Clone Wars and gets himself a fifteenth apprentice (seriously, another one? at least try to be original im begging), but about his childhood and growing up (yes I know the wrath of darth maul exists). He's a very interesting character with a lot of potential, but I'm afraid that in the new show he's just going to just stand and look cool (like a certain someone COUGH COUGH Ahsoka COUGH) and its all gonna be PLOT PLOT PLOT without any character whatsoever, and the writers won't explore in any way the fact that underneath all the badassery Maul is a weak, lost and broken person robbed of his life basically. Also remembering that Savage existed would be nice too thank you? He was the first person in his life that cared abt him I think thats important? But I digress

Anyways I'll be happy to be proven wrong!!! If this show turns out to be fire Im all for it!!!!!
