STRESSFULL

Journal Entry #1 Oktober 13, 2024

I’m going back to hostel after almost a week vacation in my hometown at Kedah. I left at 11 am in the morning for my six hour journey. I just stopped by at the RNR for a while to get some food. Unconciously, a six hour journey turned into nine hour journey due to severe traffic jams. After arriving I instantly lie down because of the fatigue. The next day I felt sick and starting to vomited everything that I ate. I looked almost half dead because I vomited a lot and didn’t have any energy left to get out of bed. My friend bought me bread to fill my stomach but I have no appetite at all.

This situation lasts for almost three days and I can’t even swallow medicine because once I did I’m gonna throw up again. I also got a fever but I didn’t want to go to the clinic because of the long waiting. When my mother call me I cried out loud because usually when I’m sick she is the who would take care of me but she’s far away from me. It was a hectic 3 days for me because I’m pack with a lot of assignment but I can’t do anything and can’t even get up. I hope I will never get sick again like ever.

Journal entry #2 Oktober 25, 2024

Today I have a morning class as usual at 8:00 am. I woke up in the morning with a nice feeling but on my way to class I met someone that I didn’t like. She smilled at me and i smiled back with a fake one. I finished my class and going to eat with my friends and the other person that I will refer as ‘B’ keep following us eventhough she knows that we didn’t like her at all. I dislike her behaviour so much because she always rude to other people when we are not close enough for her to use the rude tone when talking. We looked like some kids who’s running around trying to run from a kidnapper. She tried to join us without hesistation. People may say we are overeacting but her behaviour always annoyed us. She stayed but didn’t eat anything and waited for us to go back together. We make a lot excuse so that she won’t come with us but she still going with us and said “it’s okay I can wait and you can pay for me first for my bus fare” with a rude tone.

Journal entry #3 Oktober 29, 2024

This week is a very hectic week because it’s almost week 14 for a student. The pile of unfinished task make me want to vomit and had severe migrained . There’s so much to do and at the same time I don’t know which one to start with. I felt like my head were going to explode and burst into flames because I was so stress. I don’t even have time to eat because I was so busy with assignment and MARA documents. I thought I already prepared all the document and turn out I’m still missing out a lot. I had to make a lot of trip from hostel to college on the same day since I need to get it settle as soon as possible. Today’s weather is very hot and make me almost fainted because I walked back and forth so much. My sweat fall down from my forehead and my clothes drenched with sweats.

Journal entry #1 April 5, 2024

Today is the day that I have my monthly checkup at the clinic near my house. As usual I will go to the clinic by my self on a motorcycle. I got my license for years already so going everywhere using motorcycle is not a big deal for me eventhough I’m a girl. I wake up early and get ready to go to the clinic. before leaving I stopped at a gas station to fill up gas and buy some snacks. As soon I arrive at the clinic I did the registration procedure and sit in the waiting chair. The wait wasn't long and after everything was done I left to go home. The road was busy as usual because it’s almost peak hour so I’m want to go home quickly so I won’t get stuck in the traffic. I slipped by the side of the car and without realizing there was a big hole in front of me and I fell into it. I was thrown to the side of the road, my vision became a little dark due to shock by what happened me. Some people stopped the motorcycle on the side to help me and an uncle helped me lift the motorcycle that fell on my leg.

The blood on my leg was gushing out and my slipper was stuck on my ankle from slipping. The uncles told me to call my parents so I can get immediate treatment at the clinic. After waiting for a few minutes my father arrived with a car and his face looked so worried. He thanked the uncles and help me to get into the car. We went straight to the clinic and the wound was washed and neatly bandaged by the nurse there. I was told to go the hospital so I can get an x-ray because the wound was too deep and they were afraid I had a fracture in my leg. My father’s face looked like as if he was going to cry. Luckily, there was nothing going with my leg and I can go home with no worries. My leg took almost a month to completely heals and my father was the one took me anywhere because I cannot walk properly.

Journal entry #2 April 7, 2024

I am very touched by what happened today. Last night at 12 my family got a call from my auntie saying that my grandmother is short of breath and wants to go to the hospital as soon as possible. I didn’t take it seriously since it’s always happened anyways so I wanted to go back sleep immediately. My father are the one who’s took my grandmother to the hospital and suddenly after a few hours my father called us saying that my grandmother didn’t have much time already and we should get ready. I was shock and started to stutter since I’m very close to her. It was like a complete big news and I can’t seem to accept the reality. We cleaned the house first because the body will be brought home for burial. My other relative began to fill the house with gloomy faces as my grandmother are very likeable by everyone. There was a stairs at the back of my grandmother’s house that I always play with since I’m a kids. I saw my father there smoking behind the stairs while wiping his tears. To my surprised that’s actually my first time seeing my fathers actually crying until his entire face looked red. He seems to be grieving a lot since he lost his ‘syurga’. My father actually is a very tough person outside buat actually is very soft especially for his family.

Journal entry #3 April 28, 2024

My older sister just give birth to a healthy baby girl last month. She so tiny that she look like a jelly and fit my entire hand. My father is the happiest person when he sees the baby as the baby was his first grandchild. He also buy a lot of toys and clothes for my niece. At first, I thought he gonna be strict with my niece since he was like that with us, his own child but he’s not. I’m glad my niece will grow up with a nice loving grandpa atleast. My father plays with my niece everyday and very close with her to the point everytime she always look for my father. Fun fact my niece look like my father more than her own parents but maybe that because she still young and will change as she grow up.

EMBARASSING EVENT THAT HAPPEN TO ME

Journal entry #1 May 1, 2024

My mother wake me early than usual today because my neighbour are having a wedding. I felt so lazy waking up and even going to the wedding as I had to iron my baju kurung. The weather is very hot today and wearing baju kurung on days like this actually is mood breaker. The only thing that I love about wedding are their food because their food always top notch. I get ready quickly and as simple as I can since the weeding is just 4 minutes from my house. I also wear low heels that have been stored in a box for a long time.

When I arrived at the wedding my mother greeted the neighbour and I just smiled since I don’t know most of them so well. After saying hello, I walked to eat the food prepared by the host. Food there was so bomb that I cannot choose food to eat. After eating I plan to go home, suddenly I fell to the ground because I stepped on my own cloth. I felt like all eyes were on me and I felt so embarrassed to the point I cannot stand up anymore. My mother looked shocked and tried to help me, I get up and run away to home as fast as I can. I almost cry from embarrasement but my mother came home and said its nothing and people will forget it sooner or later.

Journal entry #2 May 15, 2024

Another day another embarrassing things happened in my life. Today I’m going to mosque for maghrib and isya’ prayers. I wear black jubah and creamy colour hijab. While waiting for isya’ time I make my way to the toilet. On my way to the toiled I have to cross the low stairs and I saw a man was filling water into his bottle at the coway machine next to the stairs. Once I stepped on the stairs I heard the sound of falling and it’s turn out I’m the one who’s falling on the floor. We looked at each other and the man looked so shocked that he didn't utter a word. He looked like he was about to burst out laugh but he held it until his face became red as tomato. I felt so ashamed that I quickly get up and pick up my shoes on the floor. I ran towards the toilet without looking back anymore. Coincidentally, I run into him on my way to go home with my mother and he’s actually my mother’s friend’s son. I think this is one of the most embarrassing thing that happened in this week.

Journal entry #3 May 27, 2024

Today I’m going to go out with my friend after a long time. We are planning to go to the waterpark at Bertam for relaxing after exam. I wake up at 8.00 and start my motorcycle to go to my friends house because her house is where we gather before going to the waterpark. We didn’t take any breakfast since four of us still not hungry. Once we arrived at the waterpark we are a bit shock because there are tons of people there. The road was very crowded and we had to squeeze to get in. Apparently there is a school group with 3 buses that cause too many people there. We play all the activities provided and have a lot of fun. When we are about the biggest slide there I already make sure I’m ready to go and fix my hijab. Unexpectedly, when we are going to slide down I scream so loud because the slide is so steep. After we get down it’s turn out my hijab already gone and fall in the water. The people beside me laugh out loud because I scream like someone who’s going to get kill. I felt a little embarrassed since there a lot people there.
