Far from me

I wish you all the best forward and on, but I had hoped we would be together in some form of a shared song. I used to imagine all of us in moments of happiness and light, but all I see now is a desolate lonely night. I look back every now and then into that dark evening, I can see that you where far from me even then. I have a promise that transcends that ache, I must move on for my own sake but mostly for your son, my journey has begun. You left and now I'm changed, stoic in the chaos but tired from the loss. I need a guiding hand, help in this ruthless land, if only you where here, then maybe I would feel no fear.

The feeling would at least be numb, if only you had been my mum, and not a shadow streathing out, leaving me in my doubt.

I don't wish you to know these words, I know they would bring you only hurt,i want us to be reunited but I fear that it would be devastation relighted.
