"When you grow up your hear dies" - this yellow submarine stands as an omen of childish wonder - or so is my interpretation, as I remind myself to keep the "silly" spirit alive.

As the saying goes in the baltic lands:
"Commanded by Pike, made wish by myself!"
Me and another coolcat are sharing visions - one vision each day, based on inktobers themes (October was busy, alright?).
Today's theme: fish.

There was a maiden called Eglė (Spruce), who one day went bathing in a river with her sisters. She carelessly threw her clothes on the shore. When the sun started dancing at the horizon, she was the last to leave the waters. She reached to pick up her blouse - oh dear! A grass snake snake was nested inside them.
"Give me your hand in marrage, fair maiden, and I shall return your clothes." said the snake, a small crown adorning his head.
That is the beginning of a tale.
Of Egle the Queen of Snakes.

From my archives: while strolling through a lovely pine forest, a cone bumped me on the head. "Blasted crows!" I thought. When I looked up, to my surprise this Fea was swaying on a branch.
"Could I be of any help?" I offered.
"No need. I few thousand years and this arrow should weather loose."
"Isn't it a bit much?" I eyed the basilisk curled on her knee.
"I'm in no rush" the Fea stretched and drifted of to slumber.

Found a cottage in the highlands - three young witchlings were practicing their rune reading. I offered my fuzzy being up for practice (they saw a ginger child and graveyards in my future, sadly no tuna) - got nettle soup in return and a place to sleep..

I was wandering the woods, completely lost. My eyes caught glimmers of gold on tree barks and leaves, so I follow. Good intuition - this brave Maiden appeared and guided me out - plus saved a poor guilded snail from being crushed under my paws..
