The city of Neverwinter, for once, is quiet.

It usually is, during the fading blue-tinted hours just before dawn, when everyone has finally gone to slumber. When the sky starts to paint pink, and then orange, giving way to the familiar blue sky.

In the streets, one can see small stray cats scampering about, scavenging for scraps, and dogs sleeping in piles to keep out the cold of the night.

Lights in windows have finally flickered out, leaving only the glow of stars and lanterns to light strangers’ way until the sun makes her reappearance.

In the center of the city, one can see the Castle of Hronis, the House that rules over the kingdom of Faerun, shining and decorated with gold and white marble, the bright blue flag waving high above it all. The castle glitters in the dying starlight, sending a sort of glow down onto its people.

Even in its sleepiest of hours, the city buzzes with an air of excitement.

Little do the sleepy little citizens know that that excitement is going to become much greater than just a simple engagement party.

Magic anons ARE in fact allowed, but they do have some guidelines: You may give characters items, but no weapons, and nothing game-breaking. keep it basic and simple. A good magic item would be, for instance, a book that fills itself with moving pictures based on what the storyteller is saying. You may also give them healing items, but no power-ups. You may not save them in combat or death. No interfering with the roleplay. However!!!! You can! Interfere with the roll of the dice. For example, you could say: The next three Nat 20s you roll magically turn to 10s. You may change the shape of the character if you wish. For example, you can shrink them very very small. You may heal the characters, but only up to 3/4 of their max health. For example, if someone has 20 HP, you may only heal them up to 15 health.

I also ask that no heavy nsfw topics are talked about. Jokes are fine with me, but nothing more.
