Important Blog Notice!
Hi again!
Since today was the start of my weekend I was able to get my primary blog set up with all of the stories I have written on this one! Within the next few days I will turn off the asks to this blog and probably messages as well.
All future updates are going to move over though so keep your eyes open for them at @dvoz-writes (:

I figured out the easiest way to move my stories to my other account (literally just copying and paste links to a new master list). I will probably start moving things over tonight!
If you had an Anon ask sent to this blog I will be writing it on the other one instead (:

Important Announcement
Hello lovelies! I’ve been trying to decide on this for awhile, but I think I will be moving my stories from this account @dvoz-alternate to my main account @dvoz-writes (yes i know real creative name). The reason I am thinking about doing this is so that I can interact better with all of you in the comments and it’ll help me stay organized a little bit better. Right now I’m trying to figure out the best way to go about moving stories over whether that means copying and pasting or just linking the previous stories into a new masterlist on my main blog.
If I do make this move it’ll probably be over the weekend. All future updates for series would occur at @dvoz-writes. The asks in my inbox will also be posted to my main blog as well. The people currently being tagged will also be tagged on the other blog (just make sure notifications are turned on).
I’m sorry to inconvenience you lovely people who have found this blog, but for me it will be easier in the long run. I hope that if you are enjoying series or stories that I have that you will follow me on the other account!

Something Witchy Teaser
Werewolf! DK x Green Witch! Reader
Summary: What started as a normal day tending your garden outside of your small home in the forest, ended up turning into babysitting an overgrown dog and his friends who trampled your precious herb garden.
AN: green witches are those who are connected to the Earth and the energy it possesses.
----------
Tumblr media
Stepping out of your humble abode you breathed in the way the forest smelt after a heavy rainfall. Not bothering putting on your shoes you stepped out with a small basket and a few gardening tools. Just because you’re in a forest doesn’t mean you have a hectic, overgrown flower bed. Smiling you wiggle your toes feeling the soft moss under foot as you head the few yards to where you spend most of your time and energy. Your smile grew even wider when you saw your foxglove had recovered from their withered state thanks to the rainfall. Humming you moved to a large cluster of marigolds to start the weeding process.
Normally most creatures that live in these forests are rather vicious or have something against another species. You? No, you preferred to live peacefully since most of your energy was tied to the Earth, but you did take precautions even though you had no enemies that you knew of. The area around your house had been warded. You took the inspiration of one way mirrors, and now you can see out but others just see the forest. Although for whatever reason those who are lost end up finding your quaint home in the trees. Not that you’d ever turn someone away, even if they were asking to have a tree step on them.
Lifting a hand to lift some leaves you check on the new shoots of a spiderwort bush smiling seeing all the green poking out of the damp dirt. Your lips parted to sing a small spell to ensure growth, but you stopped heading spinning to the sound of branches breaking. Whatever was coming in your direction was moving fast, and it seemed like there was several things. Scrambling out of the way you landed on a bunch of primroses as three large beasts stampeded through your garden. Infuriated you let out a scream causing tree roots to shoot out from their places beneath the soil tying up the wolves that crushed your beautiful garden.
Whines and whimpers came from the wolves who had roots coiled around their snouts, limbs and snouts. Shoulders square you stomp up to the trespassers eyeing each of them. Wagging a finger at them your calm facade broke a little, “Do you three have any idea what you just did?” You gesture to the garden behind you. “You ruined my babies, and now you are going to help me fix all of this.”

The Buccaneer Queen pt. 9
Pirate! ATEEZ x pirate! Reader
Genre: fantasy pirate AU, future romance
Warnings: angst, language, blood,
AN: italics are thoughts
Word count: ~1.4k
Summary: Women are considered bad luck upon the vessels that sail the Seven Seas. Before you became the captain of The Astraea, a witch of sorts cursed you and the crew leaving a physical mark upon your chest just above where your heart would lie. Anyone that sees the Black Standard flying on the black and gold ship knows that they have stumbled upon the Armada of the Damned which is piloted by the Buccaneer Queen.
———-
Previously:
Strange tattoo, Hongjoong thought seeing something ink-like in your veins. Moving to brush the hair away from your neck and upper back, his hand froze when he saw much more vexing than the scars that you adorned. The black, ink-like vein pulsed. Eyes widening to the size of dinner plates, Hongjoong moved quickly but carefully to move your hair, taking care to not wake you, to follow the black vein to its source. Dark eyes took in the inky splotch just at the base of your neck that seemed to spread following the veins underneath your skin. “What the hell?” Hongjoong breathed out staring at the mass of black that seemed to pulse in time with what he assumed to be your heartbeat.

Tumblr media
Seonghwa’s eyes followed the teen as he ran ahead to find a medicinal shop in town. Towering above the crowd Seonghwa was able to watch as Jamey shoved his way through the cluttered streets before his sleeve was tugged stopping him in his tracks. His once previously blank face pulled into a slight frown at the intrusion, and losing sight of Jamey. Dark eyes looked at the gnarled hand that gripped his sleeve before they moved up to see a hunched figure covered in clothes too big and a bland shall, eyes moving up further he noted the head of thin, wiry hair that covered sunken orbs. Seonghwa waited as patiently as he could regarding his missing crew mate, and whatever situation was happening on the Astraea. When the shriveled prune of a woman didn’t say anything Seonghwa pulled his arm slightly only for the grip to get tighter. “If you have nothing to say then unhand me,” Seonghwa grit out quietly not wanting to cause a scene in the middle of the town square. Tutting the woman dragged him to a dark shop at the far edge of the square.
Seonghwa’s eyes flitted around taking in the mass of drapes hanging around the entrance and blocking the light from the window as he was dragged into the dark shop. “Who are you?” Seonghwa breathed after walking into a shriveled skull hanging from a cord finally noticing the random trinkets hanging from the ceiling. “I go by this and some people call me that. Who I am is irrelevant,” the woman waved off Seonghwa’s question before moving behind the round table in the middle of the room her focus being the shelf behind it. Tilting his head to the side Seonghwa tried seeing what the woman was grabbing. Turning around the woman held several glass jars filled with questionable items stacked inside of a bowl. Setting the large bowl on the table she wiped some small bird like bones off the table. Seonghwa’s face contorted into a frown hearing them clatter on the floor. “Why did you bring me here?” Seonghwa questioned brows pinching together. The woman didn’t look up from her task at hand but she gave him a vague answer, “I take it upon myself to find those who seek answers. You seemed to fit the bill hm?” When Seonghwa hesitated sunken orbs looked up seeing his reluctance. Giving him a smile which looked more like a smirk revealed yellowing teeth. Grimacing his hand curled into a fist. “How do you know I’m looking for answers?” Seonghwa asked not moving any closer to the table. “You carry yourself with purpose, but your eyes swirl with unanswered questions and confusion,” was all she spoke as she started tossing bones, salt and other unknown objects into the stone bowl. “Would you like to have your questions answered?” she asked holding out her hand expectantly. Seonghwa hesitated. Everything he wanted to know he could hear from you, but when would you tell them everything? Something about this whole situation seemed wrong, but his thirst for getting to the truth was stronger than the echo in his mind telling him to leave. The old woman lit the bones on fire in the bowl leaving the sound of crumbling and cracking bones to fill the air around them. “How?” was all Seonghwa said stepping forward slightly extending his hand to the hag. Smiling at his acceptance of her invitation the woman grabbed the small iron dagger off the table. Gripping his hand tight and with a surprising amount of speed the woman brought the blade across his forearm. Eyes widened in surprise as he yanked his arm out of her grip covering his bleeding arm with his other hand with a hiss. A melodic chant fell from the woman’s lips as she brought the blade above the fire. The look in her eyes was sinister and Seonghwa felt a chill in his bones as he watched his blood drip off the blade into the awaiting fire. Time seemed to slow down as his eyes followed the scarlet drop into the hellfire. The orange flames consumed the single drop before bursting into a large column of green fire that licked at the tapestry hanging from the ceiling before fizzling out into nothingness leaving the room dark once again. The room remained silent for a few minutes before the woman tried running to the backroom away from Seonghwa screeching like a banshee. Seonghwa ran around the table grabbing her wrist with the bloodied hand. “Wait! You can’t just go through all of that to not tell me anything!” he yelled feeling anger starting to boil in his chest. “No! No! You need to leave! You can’t be here!” She shrieked almost as if she was in pain. “What do you mean leave? You didn’t answer anything!” his grip on her wrist tightened slightly probably inflicting some pain at this point. Screaming the woman yanked her arm one last time successfully out of his iron grip before cradling it against her chest like he burned her. Angrily pointing at him she hissed, “Your apart of the damned crew! You serve the sea wretch!” Seonghwa’s blood froze in his veins. “What do you mean serve the sea wretch?” he questioned. “You are being mislead by the person who goes by the title of the so called Buccaneer Queen! A woman at sea is nothing but a whore! A siren!” the woman shrieked anger flickering in her dark eyes. Seonghwa felt a bitter taste fill his mouth as he spat at the hag, “The captain is no such thing!” “You know nothing boy! You weren’t there!” she spit out before disappearing behind a door letting it slam shut. Seonghwa stood there gaping at the wooden door that slammed in his face. Slowly his brain started to connect the dots. This horrible woman was the witch who cursed everyone on the Astraea.
Walking out of the shop onto the street he was surprised that it was already growing dark. How much time had passed while I was in that fortune teller place? Seonghwa thought looking around the mostly empty square. Turning around to look at the store his jaw dropped. The rundown looking shop was no longer there instead it was the flat of a stone building. Feeling pain in his forearm he looked down seeing his white sleeve stained red. So this wasn’t some night terror…
He let himself recede into his own thoughts of what he had just experienced and those thoughts morphed into what you went through three years ago. He didn’t realize he had made it to the boat until a worried Jamey crashed into his stomach. Snapping out of his daze Seonghwa saw the mop of tangled blonde hair pressed into his chest and arms wound tight around his midsection.
“You disappeared! Where did you go? Why did you leave me?” Jamey’s voice was thick with worry as he squeezed the tall pirate tighter. Seonghwa was startled by the affection from the teen, but wrapped him in a hug nonetheless. “I’m sorry, I got caught up in something,” Seonghwa mumbled into his hair. “Well don’t do it again,” Jamey sniffed, “how would I explain that to Mother if something happened to you!” Seonghwa gave him a soft smile, “You don’t have to worry about anything happening to me. We are safe here. Besides, there’s no need for (Y/N) to worry about what happens to me.” “Yeah well you’ve heard Mother say it before. Everyone that is apart of this crew is family. Therefore you are my family so I have the right to worry,” Jamey pouted looking away. Seonghwa gave the pouting boy a soft smile and placed a hand on his shoulder, “Hey, I’m back now alright? Nothing happened,” Jamey’s eyes glanced over at Seonghwa before quickly redirecting to the large, red stained sleeve right under his nose. “What was that about being safe?” Alarmed Seonghwa yanked his hand away placing it behind his back. “Ah, just a scratch nothing to worry about.” “Bullshit! A scratch wouldn’t have caused that big of a mess!”
Jamey’s outburst caught the attention of Yunho up on the mizzenmast. Glancing down from his perch he frowned seeing the boy worked up. Sliding down the rigging he went to see what the commotion was about.
“What’s going on?” Yunho asked walking up to the two. “It’s-” Seonghwa was cut off by Jamey, “He got hurt.” Yunho’s head whipped around to look at the older male, “What happened?” Seonghwa hesitated for a moment deciding if he should tell them about where he had been. Pressing his lips firmly together he decided that was something he should discuss later. “It was an accident that’s all,” Seonghwa held eye contact with the tall gunner expecting him to question it. Sensing that he wasn’t telling the complete truth Yunho frowned, but let it go for now. He shot Seonghwa one last look that said we aren’t done here as he watched Jamey drag Seonghwa to the med bay.

Tumblr media
A man with deceptively soft features sat in the shadows just waiting for a new job to roll around. Honestly it’s what this man does best, forge contracts that come with a ridiculously high price. But as people say “business is business.” Seeing a lone car roll down the road with a light soul inside he flicked his finger in the direction causing the vehicle to sputter before giving out with a cough in the middle of a crossroad.
———-
Eyes widening in size as you heard small explosive noises coming from the engine you slammed your hand down on the steering wheel. “What the hell?” you cried watching the dash lights go berserk before shutting off completely as you stalled in the middle of an intersection. “Oh for the love of God!” you let your head fall against the steering wheel, but immediately jerked it back up as the horn sounded. “Oh but you work?” you glared at the steering wheel before smacking the horn one more time. Grabbing your phone from your bag you tried turning it on only for it to remain on a dark screen. “This was literally at 70%?” you mumbled starting to feel the panic settling in your body. Digging around the jockey box you looked for the small flashlight. “Please tell me the batteries still work in this thing,” you pleaded as you flicked the switch. Your eyes followed the beam before it flickered out. “No, no, no,” you muttered under your breath giving the flashlight a few good whacks before it illuminated your car brightly. Sighing in relief that you weren’t completely in the dark you bundled your jacket around you tighter before swinging your car door open.
Unlatching the hood of your car you pouted, you had no fucking clue what to look for. You were no mechanic and had no idea if something came disconnected or you ran out of something. Bending down you shown the light under your car looking to see if anything was dripping. A relieved sigh left your lips as the light didn’t reflect anything on the ground, but now you were even more confused. Resting one hand on the edge of the car you stared at the mass of engine parts in front of you. You had no phone to call a tow truck or any friend for that matter, and you had no clue where you were. Frustration caused small tears to prick at the corner of your eyes and you bite your lip trying to supress the sudden urge to cry.
———-
Black eyes crinkled in the corners seeing a defeated figure. How easy, the demon thought before vanishing into black smoke. Reappearing silently in the middle of the crossroad a hand smoothed out the imaginary wrinkles of his black suit. Running a hand through his blonde hair he closed his eyes, what once was entirely black was now chocolate brown. Clearing his throat he managed to grab your attention.
———-
“Do you need any help?” you turned around hearing a voice sickeningly sweet purr behind you. Whirling around your eyes dilate seeing a man standing in the middle of the road before scanning your eyes around. You didn’t hear a car drive up and you swear you would’ve seen the headlights or something. When you didn’t see anything vehicle like and just the well dressed man you narrowed your eyes and folded your arms defensively over your chest. “Who the hell are you?” you ask eyeing the man. “Just someone who can help that’s all,” he smiled at you gently. You sucked your lower lip between your teeth. “That didn’t answer my question. I asked, “Who are you?” you reiterated paired with a small glare. “Ah, so sorry. The name is Yeosang,” he gave you a gentle smile again as he pulled the gentleman card. “I don’t see how you can help me,” you turned away to look back at your car, “You’re just a suit.”
Slightly offended Yeosang frowned before appearing right behind you. “Looks can be deceiving you know,” he whispered in your ear. Whirling around you punched him square in the chest completely startled that he snuck up on you.
“How in the hell did you do that? I didn’t even hear you!” alarm was apparent in your voice. The person you now know as Yeosang just shrugged. “So, would you like some help?” Yeosang gestured to the car next to you. Leaning back and completely suspicious of the attractive man giving you horror movie vibes you decided to bite. “How would you,” you point at him before gesturing to yourself, “help me?” With a roll of his dark eyes he blinked revealing pitch black eyes before blinking once more reverting them to the brown you saw them as before. “Oh fuck no,” you whispered scrambling into your car to grab your belongings.
Yeosang watched with a frown as you crawl into your car frantically slightly offended that you refused his offer. Closing your car door with a slam you set out on foot in the direction you were originally heading in not giving the demon the time of day-er night.
“Wait a minute!” Yeosang called poofing in front of you. You stopped for a brief second slightly startled that you almost ran into him before moving around him without a word. Okay… definitely not easy, Yeosang thought correcting his previous statement. “Why would you turn down help?” Yeosang questioned keeping pace with you. Huffing you peek at him from the corner of your eye before looking forward again, “You’re a demon. Demons want something in return. The only people who ever get anything from me are people who earn a place in my life, and you sir do not fit that description.” Your words got the demon to stop in his tracks as he watched you walk away towards the town a few miles away. Brows furrowing Yeosang wasn’t about to give up, but there was also the fact that you piqued his interest. Body dissipating into black smoke he followed you to town.
———-
Yeosang watched from behind a smokey veil the motel you checked into and making sure you made it to the room okay. Why does he feel the need to make sure you made it in safely, you’re just supposed to be another job. After you disappeared behind the rickety wooden door he poofed your car into an empty parking space.
———-
Waking up the next morning you smelt coffee brewing in your room. Stretching your arms above your head it didn’t really dawn on you that there’s no way coffee should be brewing. Eyes snapping open you see a figure perched at one of the two chairs at the small table with a coffee in hand reading the paper. Sliding out of bed you don’t bother feeling conscious about your bare legs as anger overpowers that thought. “What the hell are you doing here?” You ask swatting the blonde on the back of the head, disregarding the fact that he could probably kill you if he wanted to. “Well good morning to you too sweetheart,” Yeosang said rubbing the growing welt on his head. “Yeah, yeah good morning. Now why are you here?” you ask, hip popping out as you cross your arms.
Yeosang couldn’t help but notice the way your shirt rode up slightly as your hip popped out revealing just the start of the panties you wear. Trailing his eyes back up to your face he clears his throat, “Like I told you sweetheart, I’m here to do my job.” Rolling your eyes you drop your arms before heading to the bathroom, “and I told you that only people who mean something in my life ever get anything.”
As you close the door Yeosang disappeared from the room. The only trace that he was ever there was the small cup of coffee on the table and a black ash left on the seat of the chair.
Going to return your room key to the front desk and call a tow truck you stop in your tracks. There in front of your room was you car. “How in the world?” you mumbled eyes the size of dinner plates. The only person who knew about your car happened to be the unwanted demon who waltzed into your life. With a small knowing smile you resume your task at hand. While unbeknownst to you a warm pair of brown eyes caught the small smile you wore.
———-
Some encounters like this started occurring more frequently. It used to be every other week that Yeosang would pop by at first just seeing if you were willing to make a contract with him. Eventually those few and far between encounters turned into weekly events, and then daily. And then one day he ended up spending the night at your apartment. You’d both be lying if you said you didn’t enjoy each others presence more than a demon and human should, but you both also knew that this all started because of a job.
———-
Yeosang held a book in his hand as he relaxed on the couch, originally he was going to spend time actually reading but something had been looming in his mind occupying a large space of his thoughts. In the year he has known you he has never felt more complete for being an empty hearted, supernatural being. Most wants that a demon has ends up being temporary and he didn’t want what he felt for you to be a fleeting moment. Carding a hand through his hair he sighed as he realized that he wouldn’t be able to act on his feelings. He was ancient and eternal, but you, you live on a timer. Closing his eyes he dreaded the conversation he knew he had to have.
———-
Unlocking your apartment door you saw a familiar figure laid out on the couch with a book in hand. Dropping your bag on the floor you remove your shoes before going to flop onto the warm body occupying the couch. Yeosang groaned feeling you drop all of your weight on him, but he still wrapped his arms around your midsection. “Hello to you too,” he mumbled pressing his head into the crook of your neck breathing you in. He smiled when he felt you relax in his hold. You mumbled something incoherent into his chest, but the chuckle that you felt rumble against you made you smile.
Lifting your head you noticed that Yeosang was staring at you with a soft smile, but his eyes held something unfamiliar in them. “Sangie? Is everything okay?” your smile fell feeling worry claw at your chest. “Ah~,” Yeosang hummed looking away from you. A feeling of dread washed over you. “I’ve been thinking,” Yeosang started but trailed off again. “Oh you were thinking? That’s never a good thing,” you teased hoping to lighten the tense atmosphere. Normally Yeosang would chuckle or something, but when he didn’t you realized that this was more serious than you thought. “Sangie?” you prodded sitting up off his chest. Yeosang moved into a sitting position holding one of your hands in his squeezing it slightly. “I think it’s time for me to leave…” Yeosang started gauging your reaction. “What do you mean leave?” you asked trying to pull your hand away, but Yeosang’s hands held yours firmly in place. “I mean I think I’m preventing you from living the life you have to the fullest. You’re time here is precious and I want you to be able to experience everything to your heart’s content,” Yeosang’s eyes dropped from your face to your hands as his thumb rubbed the back of your hand. Your eyes become glassy as you stared at the head of blonde hair. Choking down a sob you squeeze his hand, “B-but I’m happy here with you!” “Are you?” Yeosang’s dark eyes met your. “We wouldn’t be able to get married, you wouldn’t have the kids you might want to have later in life. I wouldn’t be able to grow old with you,” Yeosang could feel his still heart break as he saw the silent tears you cried. Placing a kiss on your forehead Yeosang mumbled his final goodbye before disappearing. You cried harder when the solid form of his hands dissipated leaving it empty and cold.
For the first time Yeosang felt tears running down his cheeks as he watched you sob into a couch pillow. He didn’t tell you this, but he planned on staying to watch your life unfold with you even if you didn’t always see him he’d still be there with you.
———-
Yeosang still managed to collect souls on occasion, but when he wasn’t he was hiding in the shadows for every milestone you hit in life. He watched you walk the stage at your college graduation, and the time you started your first real relationship. He gave your privacy obviously when needed, he might be a demon but he sure as hell is not a perv. He was also in the shadows as you went through you breakup. Eventually that moved to finding the one you decided to marry. His face sported a sad smile when you threw your arms around your husband’s neck when you told him you were pregnant. When you finally had your child your child had managed to see him even though he was nothing but a smokey shadow in the room. He actually had the joy of playing with and watching your child grow. Each and every step along the way Yeosang fell deeper in love with you. The silver that streaked your hair and the smile lines and crow’s feet that adorned your face everytime you laughed. You were still the striking soul he saw when he caused your car to break down in the middle of nowhere. Now Yeosang was sitting invisibly in a chair at your hospital bedside watching you sleep as you were connected to an IV drip and ventilator.
Without opening your eyes you rasped, “I know you’re there Sangie.” Yeosang’s eyes doubled in size as he looked at your wrinkled form. As the black ash settled into a human form Yeosang asked, “How did you know I was here?” Turning your head you gave him you famous eye roll, “I’ve always known. You make the room feel like I’m walking through the frozen section of the grocery store.” Yeosang’s mouth hung open slightly before joking with you, “You’re a lot more perceptive than you seem grandma.” Without even missing a beat your gnarled hand gripped the cane at your bedside and whacking him on the head, “I’m not a day over 29!” “Maybe for the fourth time,” he mumbled quickly raising his hands to block your swinging cane. Coughing you set the cane down before lying back in the pillows the steady sound of the heart monitor seeming loud in the room. Moving the chair to the edge of the bed Yeosang took your hand gently rubbing his thumb over the back. “I’ve missed you Sangie,” you sighed closing your eyes as a small smile graced your aged face. When Yeosang didn’t say anything you reopen your tired eyes to look at him. He still looked the same; dark suit fit snug on his body with blonde locks that rested at his cheekbones just how you remembered seeing him for the first time. “I get that I’m old, but you could you not count the wrinkles on my face?” you question as his gaze didn’t break from your face. Snapping out of his daze Yeosang shook his head, “What, I- sorry… I just got distracted. You are still just as beautiful as the day I made your car break down.” “That’s very sweet of you to say, but I am an actual raisin,” you pat his hand gently with your free hand. “Your body might be, but you soul isn’t,” he gave you a soft smile that warms your heart. You returned the smile before falling into a coughing fit. Yeosang felt panic fill his chest as he watched the deep coughs wrack your frail body. His eyes lit up as he squeezed your hand, “I have an idea.” You eyed his smile tiredly, “And what might that be?” “Come with me.” Your brows furrowed slightly at the notion not quite following. “What?” Yeosang rolled his eyes before pressing a kiss to your hands, “Come be timeless with me. Let me take care of you.” You looked at his hope-filled eyes for a brief moment before nodding. “It’s better than being bed ridden I suppose,” you hum a teasing lit in your eyes. Rolling his eyes again before becoming serious, he asked, “You’re willing to make a deal with me?” Giving him a genuine smile you nod, “I have waited so long to see you again, I would like to make it last forever this time.” Standing up from his seat Yeosang leaned over your body staring at you intently but his dark eyes were filled with warmth. “Then it’s a deal,” Yeosang murmured sealing his lips yours.
When you reopened your eyes you looked around. Confused you looked at Yeosang who still had a hold of your hand, but that wasn’t what confused you. Your hand had a warm flow radiating off smooth skin. It was then that your mind registered the soft, constant tone of the heart monitor that things started to line up. Yeosang wrapped you in a hug finally being able to hold you for the first time in forever. You were surprised how solid you felt in his arms not really sure what you were going to expect. Sensing your lingering confusion he pulled away. “Souls my dear, are timeless while the human body is not. Souls have no bounds when it comes to time,” he told you pressing a kiss to your forehead. Smiling at the action you took his hand, “Then show me what it means to have a timeless love.” Turning towards the window a black, smokey figure disappeared with a figure made of golden rays.

A man with deceptively soft features sat in the shadows just waiting for a new job to roll around. Honestly it’s what this man does best, forge contracts that come with a ridiculously high price. But as people say “business is business.”
Seeing a lone car roll down the road with a light soul inside, he flicked his finger in the direction, causing the vehicle to sputter before giving out with a cough in the middle of a crossroad.
»»————- ➴ ————-««
Eyes widening in size as you heard small explosive noises coming from the engine, you slammed your hand down on the steering wheel. “What the hell?” you cried, watching the dash lights go berserk before shutting off completely as you stalled in the middle of an intersection.
“Oh for the love of God!” You let your head fall against the steering wheel, but immediately jerked it back up as the horn sounded. “Oh but you work?” You glared at the steering wheel before smacking the horn one more time.
Grabbing your phone from your bag, you tried turning it on only for it to remain on a dark screen. “This was literally at 70%?” you mumbled, starting to feel the panic settling in your body.
Digging around the jockey box, you looked for the small flashlight. “Please tell me the batteries still work in this thing,” you pleaded, as you flicked the switch. Your eyes followed the beam before it flickered out. “No, no, no,” you muttered under your breath, giving the flashlight a few good whacks before it illuminated your car brightly. Sighing in relief that you weren’t completely in the dark, you bundled your jacket around you tighter before swinging your car door open.
Unlatching the hood of your car you pouted, you had no fucking clue what to look for. You were no mechanic and had no idea if something disconnected or you ran out of something. Bending down, you shown the light under your car looking to see if anything was dripping. A relieved sigh left your lips as the light didn’t reflect off anything on the ground, but now you were even more confused. Resting one hand on the edge of the car, you stared at the mass of engine parts in front of you. You had no phone to call a tow truck or any friend for that matter, and you had no clue where you were. Frustration caused small tears to prick at the corner of your eyes, and you bite your lip, trying to supress the sudden urge to cry.
»»————- ➴ ————-««
Black eyes crinkled in the corners, seeing a defeated figure. How easy, the demon thought before vanishing into black smoke.
Reappearing silently in the middle of the crossroad, a hand smoothed out the imaginary wrinkles of his black suit. Running a hand through his blonde hair, he closed his eyes. What once was entirely black was now chocolate brown. Clearing his throat, he managed to grab your attention.
»»————- ➴ ————-««
“Do you need any help?” you turned around hearing a voice sickeningly sweet purr behind you.
Whirling around your eyes dilated seeing a man standing in the middle of the road before scanning your eyes around. You didn’t hear a car drive up, and you swear you would’ve seen the headlights or something. When you didn’t see anything vehicle like and just the well-dressed man, you narrowed your eyes and folded your arms defensively over your chest. “Who the hell are you?” You ask eyeing the man.
“Just someone who can help that’s all,” he smiled at you gently.
You sucked your lower lip between your teeth. “That didn’t answer my question. I asked, "Who are you?`` you reiterated paired with a small glare.
Whirling around, you punched him square in the chest, completely startled that he snuck up on you.
“How in the hell did you do that? I didn’t even hear you!” alarm was apparent in your voice.
The person you now know as Yeosang just shrugged. “So, would you like some help?” Yeosang gestured to the car next to you.
Leaning back and completely suspicious of the attractive man giving you horror movie vibes, you decided to bite. “How would you,” You point at him before gesturing to yourself, “help me?”
With a roll of his dark eyes, he blinked, revealing pitch-black eyes before blinking once again, turning them to the brown you saw them as before.
“Oh fuck no,” you whispered, scrambling into your car to grab your belongings.
Yeosang watched with a frown as you crawled into your car frantically, slightly offended that you refused his offer.
Closing your car door with a slam you set out on foot in the direction you were originally heading in, not giving the demon the time of day-er night.
“Wait a minute!” Yeosang called, poofing in front of you. You stopped for a brief second slightly startled that you almost ran into him before moving around him without a word. Okay… definitely not easy, Yeosang thought, correcting his previous statement. “Why would you turn down help?” Yeosang questioned, keeping pace with you.
