Berita sedih untuk kita semua. (Lagi-lagi berita tidak mengenakkan dari pemerintah). Tumblr di Indonesia akan diblokir pemerintahan Jokowi dengan alasan banyak mengandung konten pornografi. Berdasarkan pengaduan masyarakat, Panel Pornografi dengan serta-merta memutuskan akan memblokir tumblr. Tim pengkajinya mereka tahu tidak ya bedanya tumblr dengan website kebanyakan? Jangan-jangan mental dan pemahaman mereka sebenarnya yang harus diperbaiki?

FYI, di Turki pemerintah juga memblokir banyak alamat tumblr yang menampilkan pornografi, meski tidak semuanya terblokir. Namun, mereka paham bahwa yang seharusnya diblokir itu akun-nya bukan website-nya. Tumblr itu kan microblog, beda dengan website reguler. Apa tidak bisa pemerintah menyurati Yahoo–dan manajemen tumblr–untuk memperbaiki aturan mengenai pornografi, minimal untuk Indonesia saja? Kalau begitu, pemerintah harusnya memblokir wordpress juga, atau kalau perlu Google sekalian. Di search engine Google bahkan mudah sekali mencari link website porno, bahkan sampai gambar dan video. Lalu kenapa tumblr yang jadi sasaran? Apakah mereka ini paham?
