This world is crazy.
If you like the norm, you're hated.
If you don't think like everyone else, you're obnoxious.
Everybody wants to set a standard but wants to be different at the same time.
But remember that at the end of the day, you're consciousness of your own self is what truly matters.
There so much in this world and we hear so much voice.
But in your own world, make sure yours is the loudest.

Life Lately - Anxiety - Silva Method
I had a realization that I was dragging things. I felt like I was biting more than I could chew.
A lot of people talked about mental health at work, and I disregarded it.
I thought, how could you have a healthy mental with empty pockets.
The truth is, it's better to prevent than to cure.
You can't heal when you don't know what was wounded.
Now that I took some rest for a few months.
I'm yet healed. But it's been progressing for the better.
It feels as if once you have the anxiety you're body forgets how it's like without it. And now I came to realization that the process of healing an invisible pain could take a long course.
From being a practical person, you've turned into a one man battle because the battle happens within mind against itself. And you're now overthinking the smallest thing.
But overthinking slows down the progress. Does it ring anything? Does it sounds as if we're on the same boat, then, for what it's worth here's what has been helping me.
-- continous meditation.
When anxiety creeps in and you get overwhelmed, find a comfortable position and clear it.
As you close your eyes, feel free to be as anxious as you can, and remember the things that makes you feel so. This gives you the awareness of the present.
Then imagine a line graph that gets higher and higher as your mind wonders to the tasks or whatever it is that brings up anxiety.
And then you find the courage in you to take control because the lines are indeed of your control and once you're aware, it's now in your hands to push the lines towards the bottom of the graph.
Until it's clear. The lines should represent your anxiety and you must be aware of this.
When I do this, somehow the anxiety wears off. So I thought to post it for someone to read or for me to remember
I learned this from Silva Mind Control Method Book.
Also note that it does not have to be a line graph, you can have a different representation.
My practical perspective of this is that the brain needs to see some sort of a trigger or a thing that represents a feeling so it can command with clarity and has a better understanding of you.
I might have a different way of explanation or could be a different interpretation but it worked for me so far.
Your brain works in a way it thinks is best for you but he doesn't fully understand so you also need to do the work so you two can work harmoniously.

Femme Fatale Guide: Top Career Tips To Set Yourself Up For Success
Figure out where your skills and passions align. Then determine the lifestyle/work culture you thrive in and what sacrifices you're willing to make in your chosen career path (for some, it's always traveling/talking to people 24/7, working late hours, unpredictable/unconventional hours, potentially lower pay/less predictable income, etc.). It truly depends on your top values, your personality, and your goals/priorities in life.
First focus on getting incredibly talented at your craft. Find a mentor(s) who will push you with their feedback/suggestions. Take classes/skills courses/read books & articles to gain more applicable knowledge/hard skills. Join clubs, apply to internships, volunteer, and request informational interviews in your desired field.
Make your skills marketable. Create a professional resume and/or neat portfolio/collection of work samples. Discover and articulate your USP (that should essentially serve as the backbone of your elevator pitch). Frame your skills through a customer/business-centric lens. How does your experience/skillset solve their problems and help a company/client achieve their goals?
Build a network for yourself. Don't be shy to reach out to companies/individuals who inspire you. Speak with your secondary school teachers and professors for connections. Create peer-to-peer networks, too, so you can grow together. Be a fearless networker and connector. Help others, do favors, and make the person glad they met/hired you. Make it your objective to be memorable through your work ethic/providing high-quality work products and showing up with a motivated & overall positive attitude allows people to like and trust you with their time, clients, money, etc.
Master the art of a killer email/cold pitch. Especially in today's world, learning how to sell yourself through intriguing emails/LinkedIn messages is the key to unlocking potential success. One client or opportunity can create momentum that will be useful years down the line, too.
When in doubt, follow up 鈥撀爋n an email, pitch, job opportunity, connection, etc.
Be ruthless and relentless with your research. For new contacts, connections, opportunities, and information to support your pitches/job interviews/networking conversations, new technologies, and trends within your field. Read everything credible you can get your hands on. Display working knowledge and practical applications of these concepts and how they can benefit the person in front of you/their business.
Create systems. For how you structure emails/pitches, conduct research, different types of workflows/ work template structures for different types of projects, time-blocking, client funnels, etc.
Get comfortable with rejection. Use it as a primer for self-reflection and refining your craft/processes or help you pivot your approach to help you achieve your goals. Never take business decisions on behalf of a company personally (and vice versa).
Give yourself breaks, but don't give up. Tapping out for good is the only surefire way to fail at an endeavor. Be flexible in your path, but zeroed in on your goal(s). Learn when to quit or pivot, and when it's time to coast or seek growth.

Blue Valentine Review
Tumblr media
This weekend, we checked off another romantic movie from our list, or so we thought.
As I watched the film, I couldn't help but feel a sense of appreciation wash over me. Ryan Gosling, in his own inimitable style, effortlessly carried the entire movie. It's pretty incredible to think that the same guy who played Ken in Barbie is playing a role of a manly boy-next-door role and an amazing father.
While I had to pause every seen that had left me in awe, there are a few remarkable things that would make me pick this movie for the second time.
First of the list is the fact that calling Ryan as an actor felt like an underestimation of him. He's definitely an artist and deserves the best regards.
Secondly, watching this movie felt like peeking into someone else's life, and it all felt so real and natural. Refreshing for someone who often watched Marvels, fantasies, and unrelatable romantic movies. The movie has shown the highs and lows of real relationships.
Third, the cheesy part, this movie just made me appreciate my hubby even more as a father and LOML. I saw a part of my life which made me write this lengthy review that probably no one wouldn't even bother to read. Often, women find themselves the most forgiving one. This movie has brought glimpses of the tiny moments where I was the one being forgiven.
It didn't have the ending that we wanted for it to have, that's for sure.
But it did made us appreciate our relationship and the fights we won more than ever.

I always go back to these home aesthetics after all the seasons that has passed.
I'm drawn to have blue for an accent but my favorite color has to be everywhere, white.
Tumblr media
And Soderhamn sofa is still my first choice. Although the feeling is somewhat fading as I lean more towards a more structured piece.
Tumblr media
Blue and brown go well with white, grey and marbles. Marbles, when used properly, makes home timeless.
And I like to keep things as timeless as they can.
I think they are sustainable and can sustain my busy schedule.
I believe I'm not the kind of a house wife that changes the home interior every week.
I'm more like...
Whatever works, let's keep that.

LOML Appreciation Post
Tumblr media
How can I get a bad day when I have the best man in my life?
I'm beyond blessed to have a child who loves me to death and a man who loves my child like his. Such a noble love he has!
I don't really know how I deserved this kind of love in my life and so I thank God and I praise Him for allowing me to live a life with so much love in it.
