INFO: Age: 25 Hometown: London Überschrift: Bafic is a Director and Artist living in London. Working primarily across the mediums of photography, film, public installation & websites, Bafic’s work aims to discuss the systems created by humans in society and online, using his own reflections on 21st century life and new forms of expression. Bafic's work has often been described as blurring the lines between video art & documentary. This is highlighted by his ongoing series of stand-alone website only projects, which are all listed at: https://bafic.systems/. But it was his installation at London’s ICA, “Processing Procession”, that introduced Bafic to a whole new audience. Bafic subverted the idea of surveillance by recording and projecting his own gritty footage of the public. Bafic's previous collaborators and clients include Gucci, Louis Vuitton, Vice, Nike, adidas, Sonos, Dazed, Neneh Cherry, Mabel McVey, Smirnoff, Boiler Room, ICA, Tate, etc.

It’s mostly conversations I have with people, friends, family, random people waiting for a bus – that’s where all the sauce is. You gotta locate the sauce from the people and things around ya, and let that feed and inform you, and do that over and over again, repeating that process.
