it still fucks me up that Megaton has like a handful of quests, most of them tiny sidequests, and everyone in town has a dialogue option to ask about what's going on around locally or in the wasteland beyond and every single one of them says "IDK I don't pay attention" instead of giving you any kind of quest hook or lore
