VOL 2 - Shortly after Zola saves Tawny from the Illoudo.

SPOILER Timeline:

Tawny and Zola fall out of closeness as Zola grapples with the tragedy of the Ambush.

Zola comes into contact with the Fallen that killed Rund. In a breakdown moment, Zola utilizes Liannah's powers to destroy it.

Teeko comforts her in her revelation on how disappointing this confrontation and conclusion was. Truly mourning her family. Zola is witnessed by Teeko.

Teeko lashes out at Liannah for her actions. Tension rises between members in the group as they travel through Tephonp trying to capture Dovanni.

In the midland ridges, The Illoudo lure Tawny from the group - leading them through a terror mission to face this strange faction of Fallen.

Liannah remembers her first training with the Fallen - a lesson on steadying her fear.

They find the Illoudo about to execute Tawny for her Lemenian bloodline. Zola intervenes and saves Tawny by communing with the Illoudo. (A descendant of the many Tephnaphi born to the treachery of the Lemenians in the Fallen Wars.) They allow Zola's petition for Tawny's life.

The Kilulu - spirits of the Prima - taught the Conscious Kind how to manipulate energy. More etheral spirits - they danced and awakened the energy within their bodies - conjuring it to the palms of their hands. This energy movement made whisps, bands, and glowing sparks between their hands.

Yons still practice this dancing technique to learn to awaken their lifeforce energy to a usable output.
