i dont dream of employment. i don’t wish to conform. i want to spend an hour making breakfast and another hour eating it. in the sun. i want to have honest and philosophical conversations with people i love instead of snobby remarks between coworkers i pretend i tolerate. i want to bathe in rivers and i want to dance under the moon. dance until the sun comes up and then sleep until the afternoon heat peaks and i can hear the world breathing around me and the birds in the trees. i want to indulge in life, get every last morsel of love and light from this time on this planet that is so so short. but no, i cant meet you to have a soul bonding ceremony behind a waterfall tonight, i need to go to my minimum wage job so i can afford to be alive.
