I got more story views on this photo than any other in the history of my ‘gramming. Not sure why but since y’all liked it, it’s the cover of today’s photo dump, yeah! 👾 Life has been wonderful but a little overwhelming lately. Super excited and blessed AF to be a part of BMG’s writing boot camp!!! Working on other projects and trying to get my life together. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve been at the dmv this month 😭. Doing really well. Still got tumors and cancer but I’m stable now we’re pretty much managing it like a long-term disease. I’m not sure how much time I have but I plan to do as much living as possible every single damn day. I am starting to meet up and spend time with people again but slowly. I likely won’t be performing until October or November. My voice has fully returned and my neuropathy has lessened to the point where I can play through a set. But I’m working on getting past some anxiety issues that I’ve been dealing with. Almost there, but in the meantime I’m writing a bunch of greatness to share with y’all 💜 Thank you thank you thank you so much for your love and your support and how you’ve showed up for me. The past year and a half has been utter and complete hell and the hardest period of my life. But I gained so much through this journey… It’s hard to explain in words. But the person that I am now… I’m really proud of. The person that I am today, I love so much... and every day I am so thankful to be alive. I’m really excited to be apart of this event Sunday with these other fya artists!!! As many of you know I’ve recently been dealing with mental illness as a result of chemotherapy last year. I think it has been the hardest part of my journey thus far. I’ve been so fortunate to find people and communities on club house dealing with similar challenges in life and it has been incredibly validating and healing. Bone broth is literally changing my liiiiiife!!!! I got an organic bone broth subscription from #belcampo and it’s helped me sooooooo much. It helps with the joint pain from the hormone therapy, gives me energy, and if I start my meals with a lil bit, it coats my stomach and helps alleviate nausea for the chemotherapy. Also! I’ve been putting chemo, aka poison, in my body for almost a year now and my skin look better than it ever has. Some of it has to do with diet but a lot of it has to do with bone broth.
