You can’t see other possibilities when you’re so identified with the reality you’re in. The thing is that your current reality is merely a reflection of your habitual thinking patterns. This is who you used to be, not who you are.
Don’t fall into this trap. Realize that whatever surrounds you is the reflection of your past self. And it doesn’t have to be your identity anymore. You can choose your thoughts, you can choose the kind of energy you want to cherish. You can literally become someone else; you can adopt a new, more empowering mindset.
Change always comes from within. You have to change your energy, you have to become the energy you want to attract. Learn how to cherish higher emotional states. Focus on gratitude, love, and happiness. When you maintain your new vibration, your reality has no other choice but to change. The Universe is like a mirror. You have to smile first, and then your reflection will also smile.
As long as you are in control of your emotions, you are in control of your life. Only when we let go of the anticipation of the future based on the past, we can create something new in our lives. If you were to imagine what else was possible for you, what would that be? How would your life change for the better? You know the answer, and it’s up to you whether you’re going to do something to improve the quality of your life or not.

Is it just me or are in home libraries like the dreamiest thing? A little cozy room lined with shelves, full of books of all shape and color that you’ve collected over the years, with a big round window in an alcove where you can sit and sip some tea and thumb through your favorite novel and listen to the rain pattering against the glass. Thats the life

being in your early twenties is like [grocery shopping alone] [having instant noodles for dinner] [remembering random details about that one friend you haven't spoken to in five years] [feeling overwhelming guilt for every purchase that isn't strictly "necessary"] [having midday naps] [finding out through facebook that the girl who was mean to you in high school has a husband and a baby] [falling a little in love with every stranger on public transport] [pretending you're not afraid of being alone] [wondering when you'll feel like a fully realized person] [listening to bands you liked in middle school] [blinking and it's suddenly december] [failing to imagine yourself ten years from now] [feeling like you're running out of time]

“My thing is just to make my actors happy, and for them to be interesting and original instead of trendy, I have a tendency of making up these outfits that are not necessarily something you’ve seen before, but still hold some interest. Because that’s what lasts in a wardrobe, it really does.” — Patricia Field, costume designer for Sex and the City and Devil Wears Prada on her work on Emily Cooper’s wardrobe in EMILY IN PARIS.
