Asoiaf: The Visual Novel
The habit of obedience went deep. The woman followed his guard out, leaving the bathhouse to the two of them. The tubs were large enough to hold six or seven, after the fashion of the Free Cities, so Jaime climbed in with the wench, awkward and slow. Both his eyes were open, though the right remained somewhat swollen, despite Qyburn's leeches. Jaime felt a hundred and nine years old, which was a deal better than he had been feeling when he came to Harrenhal.
Brienne shrunk away from him. "There are other tubs."

dreamt that david cronenberg confirmed on an interview that he had no male characters in his movies because all of them were trans women. for some reason this deeply angered the serbian mafia, and they assainated him in the same interview

being a queer person who really likes a m/f ship blows because the minute you step outside your painstakingly curated circle of t4t bisexuals you find out all the straight people are out here drawing your faves like this

you ever see a famous 20-something woman and think that she’s very pretty but also you know in your heart she has the potential to age into the most etherial gilf known to lesbianism. but you also know that because of her social standing and the current cultural landscape she’s going to get loads of plastic surgery and botox and you will be robbed of ever getting to witness her maximum divine gilfyness potential. it’s just so sad. why must I be doomed to watch these women poorly taxidermy their youth

um guys, I think we need to stop waiting for ‘the right time’ and just start doing the things we want whenever because the right time’s never gonna come, and if we keep waiting it’s just gonna turn into an endless cycle

As a wheelchair user I'm trying to reframe my language for "being in the way."
"I'm in the way," "I can't fit," and "I can't go there," is becoming "there's not enough space," "the walkway is too narrow," and "that place isn't accessible."
It's a small change, but to me it feels as if I'm redirecting blame from myself to the people that made these places inaccessible in the first place. I don't want people to just think that they're helping me, I want them to think that they're making up for someone else's wrongdoing. I want them to remember every time I've needed help as something someone else caused.

too many stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for pretending to be something you aren't and losing yourself in the process. not enough stories about turning yourself into a monster as a metaphor for choosing to openly embrace yourself even if it's strange to other people
