PSA: BAD LITTERBOX

i don't usually make posts like this, but this is a truly upsetting topic to me as a lifelong cat owner, so i feel i have a duty to share my knowledge with others.

there is a type of automatic litterbox for cats being sold that is EXTREMELY dangerous and has killed numerous cats through blunt force trauma, suffocation, etc. this litterbox is being sold under different brand names and logos, so i will include the picture of the model and two links to informational videos with more evidence and eloquence than i am able to provide.

please consider not having this type of litterbox in your home for your furry friends. me and my 16 year old tortie, puddy, want the best for all your kitty friends

I've been resource gathering for YEARS so now I am going to share my dragons hoard

Floorplanner. Design and furnish a house for you to use for having a consistent background in your comic or anything! Free, you need an account, easy to use, and you can save multiple houses.

Comparing Heights. Input the heights of characters to see what the different is between them. Great for keeping consistency. Free.

Magma. Draw online with friends in real time. Great for practice or hanging out. Free, paid plan available, account preferred.

Smithsonian Open Access. Loads of free images. Free.

SketchDaily. Lots of pose references, massive library, is set on a timer so you can practice quick figure drawing. Free.

SculptGL. A sculpting tool which I am yet to master, but you should be able to make whatever 3d object you like with it. free.

Pexels. Free stock images. And the search engine is actually pretty good at pulling up what you want.

Figurosity. Great pose references, diverse body types, lots of "how to draw" videos directly on the site, the models are 3d and you can rotate the angle, but you can't make custom poses or edit body proportions. Free, account option, paid plans available.

Line of Action. More drawing references, this one also has a focus on expressions, hands/feet, animals, landscapes. Free.

Animal Photo. You pose a 3d skull model and select an animal species, and they give you a bunch of photo references for that animal at that angle. Super handy. Free.

Height Weight Chart. You ever see an OC listed as having a certain weight but then they look Wildly different than the number suggests? Well here's a site to avoid that! It shows real people at different weights and heights to give you a better idea of what these abstract numbers all look like. Free to use.

I cannot believe there's absolutely no way to watch free shows and movies anymore, there are too many paid streaming platforms and pirating websites have viruses and ads preventing you from watching it uninterrupted((.)) id rather follow the rules and purchase media moving forward because it is too inconvenient. Seriously, free and no ads or viruses with 1080p streaming is DEAD.

Hey Tumblr, I'm fundraising currently raising funds for my cat, Chai! She's a itty bitty Tordie kitten, and she was born May 12th! She's a truly sweet kitten along with her little sister Vanilla! She loves sunbathing and sitting on various shoulders. (She loves to be tall!)

She unfortunately had an eye infection, and she she's basically doesn’t have her right eye anymore. Luckily, she was able to receive an emergency enucleation, but I don't have the current means or funds to pay off the debt, and so I started a GoFundMe! I just wanted to say that i loved the playlist you posted, i found it through the electric dreams tag and ive had it on repeat for days, ive since tried looking up similar playlists but none were as good as yours, do you think youll ever make another? you just have great taste! (dont feel any pressure to or anything tho!) but yea i just wanted to say it was great and im glad i found it!! :D thank you for the good soup

I've actually just made two more playlists!

The first is AM! It features a lot of unsettling and very angry, dark music and ambiance. Occasional screaming and violent lyrics that I think generally reflect AM's mindset and the terrible things that go through that dude's head. I do have to warn that it's not just general angry music, but it could be actually disturbing for some listeners, so fair warning!

The next is Edgar! It's far more similar to my original playlist with more 80s beats, with some electronic and very upbeat music! I did throw in some MCR to add a little edge, but other than that, it's a pretty positive playlist! I'd imagine this playlist is more so reflecting Edgar's attitude. Something far much more paletteable than the AM playlist!

I had a lot of fun making these, so I hope you all enjoy these!

1. Edgar (Electric Dreams 1984)

This isn't very surprising for you all, but I adore Edgar. A lot of A.I. movies don't focus on the idea of romance very often, and even more rarely do they receive a good ending. Electric Dreams has a wonderful amount of cheesiness and sincerity, and honestly it was bound to happen that I'd fall in adoration for Edgar. It's one of the more light hearted movies that I own, and I have no regrets for getting my tattoo of him!

2. Proteus IV (Demon Seed 1973)

This might seem like a surprising choice, but Demon Seed is one of my favorite books that I own. Proteus IV is such a hypocritical bastard, and he never understands the wrongs he commits. He thinks he's better then all of humanity, when in actuality, he sounds like a typical psycho stalker. The movie isn't as great, but occasionally I enjoy watching it if I'm in the mood.

3. HAL 9000 (2001: A Space Odyssey 1968)

Again, not super surprising, and honestly I just adore HAL. He came from a super great movie and there's a reason that HAL is one of the most iconic A.I.s. He's also one of my favorite android designs that I've made, so drawing him is a lot of fun! One of my favorite pictures I've drawn this year features HAL doing a babygirl pose, so obviously he's on this list.

4. AM (IHNMAIMS 1995)

Now I discovered AM through the video game like most do, and through Tumblr. Eventually I did read the short story of course, but my heart will always love video game AM. It probably helped that I read a lot writing about him since he's quite popular within the A.I. scene. (At least on Tumblr anyways.)

5. Data (Star Trek: The Next Generation 1987)

Fun fact! I love Star Trek and Star Trek: The Next Generation is one of my favorite series. It shouldn't be any surprise that Data is my favorite character on that show and sort of helped fuel my obsession and adoration for A.I.s, robots, and androids. Star Trek: TNG is really good at exploring concepts about androids and A.I.s, and that's what really intrigues me about all this.
