I like the idea that they were both affected by war. Teruko being in a battle (after the Great War) but almost dying because of it. While Ole was experimented on after the Great War and almost dying because of the dead soldiers blood. (That’s what was used to give her her ability)

They were both used by the government for their ability, Ole to be experimented on to learn more about abilities while Teruko was put into the hunting dogs and used her ability to protect others

They were both used + got away from it but only one acknowledges it (Teruko didn’t live long enough to…)
