             " Who are you ca-- " His boastfully loud voice came to a halt, eyes flickering toward their target almost nervously. By some kind of miracle, he had managed to shut himself up and not blow their cover completely. That was a feat on its own seeing as he'd might as well have speakers as a set of lungs.

               A bead of sweat dripped along the side of his face, eyes flickering back and forward between Nicole and their friend. A small sense of relief washed over him; it seemed like they remained unnoticed. And Kanji was going to work a lot harder to keep it that way.

         However, at the other's words, gray eyes settled on the girl. Brows drew together, squinting as he observed the duo. " You got all that from just looking at them? " He questioned, both confused and a bit impressed. He wanted to say something along the lines of, ' it is unlike him. ' But that would be a lie. Yosuke did seem like the type of person who couldn't say no.   

"Ya big baby….."

         {/Couldn’t she just do this without him ruining it? How did she even get saddled with him anyway? It’s not that Nicole had any qualms with Kanji at all! He seemed like a really chill dude. But at the same time, its almost as if he didn’t know the meaning of ‘inside voice’. He’d probably be louder than the damn train Yosuke wouldn’t be able to hear.}

"….—Lookin’ a’ her…I dunno. She ea’s like she’s homeless. And she keeps scratchin’ an’ clawin’ a’ tha clothes. Like she ain’……used ta wearin’ thin’s like tha’.”

         {/Besides, she hung out with that bonehead a lot. There’s no way he’d actually go off and do something like that, and then have the person around with him in public. Where people would just be able to see, and spread more rumors about him. Yosuke was an idiot, but not that much of one.}

         His laugh is just like him, loud and a bit obnoxious. Yet, at the same time, it is kind of pleasant; when he genuinely means it, anyway. Unfortunately, his laughter is seldom heard unless surrounded by those he feels particularly close with. Sometimes he feels embarrassed about it, even if such a thing seems to be such a silly notion.

Just enjoying his icecream cone with the scoop falls off the cone onto someone's shoes. Luckily, they weren't his. "Ah--My...ice cream."

             Wrong place, wrong time. Though, lucky for this unfortunate stranger, Kanji was in a decent mood. No one had tried to pick a fight with him, so he wasn't pissed of edgy. Though, at the same time, he did not necessarily enjoy having ice-cream on his shoes; it wasn't even his color.
