wheelchair fund for disabled indigenous lesbian

Hi! No one ever imagines themselves in this situation until it happens to them. That's how it was for me. I'm slowly learning how to love myself again in this new light, and it's very hard. Something that makes it infinitely harder is the fact that while I'm trying to accept the fact that my body cannot accomplish simple abled tasks like walking, I have no mobility aids to make it easier to love myself. The more and more I miss out on things because I can't even walk anywhere, my quality of life continues decreasing so much. I cannot even go into the grocery store, I missed out on the fair, and soon, my sister will be dancing in a local Harvest festival parade and I'm worried I'll miss that too. Insurance won't cover a wheelchair despite the fact that I have done all their prerequisites such as doctor confirmations, physical therapy, etc. They said I need to try to "modify my home." Um... mobility at home isn't the biggest issue here. Obviously they don't care. It's insurance in America. Because I am disabled I am not working. I can't even obtain the wheelchair with my own funds. It's kind of heartbreaking, honestly. Please, please consider donating to my wheelchair fund.
