Found a new show today that my Granddaughter enjoys - Word Party on Netflix. Normally, she just pays attention to theme music, but seems to like this one. Also saw a show called Beat Bugs this n Netflix - uses songs from the Beatles (for Beatle fans out there) - sounds interesting. Hopefully, she will enjoy this show also, so I can see how they weave Beatle songs into life lessons for children.

Grandparent Babysitting
I retired three years ago and have been lucky to babysit my grandchildren during that time. Currently, I’m babysitting my 10 month old Granddaughter and finding it to be an enjoyable experience.
Once you’re a grandparent, chances are you’re an empty nester and close to, if not at, retirement. Fortunately, I was able to retire at 62 and, quite honestly, do not miss full time work that was stressful. And to be able to replace it with full time work that is a joy, is a blessing that most of us do not get to enjoy. I’m finding that watching the Disney Junior channel has good teaching shows as do Netflex and Amazon Prime. But to watch your Grandchild start communicating with you (yes, I believe that a head shake while looking at you is communication), roll over, learn to crawl, learn balance and start talking, is priceless.
