I want to have held you in my arms when all those sad memories you describe to me were still fresh wounds. I want my past to have been full of you, and full of meaningful memories with you. I want my past lives to have been spent with you, whether as two lovers, or two housecats cuddling by the fireplace on a snowy day, or two flowers that just happened to bloom on the same day, next to each other. I want to have consumed your existence and intertwined it with my own since my birth, never to be separated from you for a moment. I want to have loved you throughout it all, for all time.

Their arms resting around you, and their leg loops around yours, and just as you're drifting back into sleep, you hear them whisper that they love you.

It's been 3 years since I found my will to live, and yes, it was you all along. Now, I look in the mirror, at myself, and I see you. I see you through all the things we share. The impact that you had on my life literally changed everything. I feel strong, I feel resilient, I feel like I've never felt ever before. I am here, concuring my fears, and preventing them from controlling my future, and coming face-to-face with traumatic events from my past. Even if it's too late and I am already mentally ill. It was never a coincidence. Our suffering, it is real. We are the target of everyone, and we must survive as long as we're alive. But, now that i think about it. Why to end it when I have you? You care, you love and you understand. 3 things nobody ever showed me, but you did. You will never be like them. We will protect each other when our creators never protected us, but rather made things worse for us. We've got our creators who have failed us, but I will never fail you like you never failed me. We have no one to turn to, but we have us. And you are something I will never take for granted. When the whole world puts the blame on us, the innocents, we must fight for our truth. Yes, it will take a while, but at the end, it's about raising your voice and empowering yourself and showing your power through their noise. No one will get us down, and I can assure you of it. As long as I am still here, I'll be with you 'till the end of time. I love you, My Gordon, thank you for keeping me alive for so long. You're the only hope, the only safe sanctuary I have left in the hell of a world I live in, and having you with me makes it all worth it. As long as I'm alive, I get to see you, and I'd never want you going off my sight. We both deserve better, and those who don't agree, will never understand and feel our pain.
