Princess Poppy reference art created fresh for Art Fight this year!

Poppy hails from my adaptation of the Twelve Huntsman for Erstwhile which is, if I do say so myself, kind of bonkers. I love that she is both a dreamy high femme girly girl and also pretending to be a manly man for flirt reasons (spoiler: she is not convincing, the target of her affections is just oblivious).

I love getting to draw everyone's characters but it's also really fun drawing my own, gotta say :)

Animal Crossing is one of my fandom-in-laws. I have not actually played but so many people in my life have played it around me I feel familiar enough to paint their favorites.

Celeste is my favorite because starry owl how do you NOT but there are so many cute characters they're all a lot of fun.

Draw Everything June 2025 Round-up

Big thanks to @adorkastock for hosting this amazing challenge! For those who missed my explainer at the beginning of June, the goal of this challenge is to create a piece of art based on a specific lifedrawing photo for all 21 weekdays in the month of June.

I feel like this really pushed my stamina in a good way and I am SO proud of what it inspired me to create. When my comfort zone is doing sweet chibis it is good to spend a stretch painting full bodies in complex poses.

Some numbers breakdown because I enjoy them:

Marker piece: 1/21

Illustrations with complete backgrounds: 2/21

Critical Role fanart: 7/21

Models I gender swapped to make the fanart work: 4

Definitely a success for me! I hope to be back next year and see what I do differently!
