Anthem Lights' Escape Album Article
Anthem Lights recently celebrated an album release and singer Joey Stamper’s twenty-fourth birthday.
The band is a four-piece American Christian pop/rock band from Nashville, Tenn. Members include Alan Powell, Caleb Grimm, Chad Graham and Stamper.
They were streaming live for everyone to see them waiting for their release of Escape. It was interesting to see how many fans they have now, and showed how much they care by calling some fans to thank them for the support.
On Oct. 14, they released their third album Escape. In my opinion this album wins me over compared to their other albums. Don’t get me wrong; their other albums are incredible, but something about this album drew my attention. I think this album has a lot more passionate power about the person you really care about and the songs all relate to each other in a similar way. As I listened to the album, these were my thoughts.
“Top of the World:” I liked how they started off their album with this upbeat song. As I listened to the words, I wanted to be, as the title states, on top of the world and at the place where nothing else matters in life.
“Just Fall:” I think this is my favorite song off this album because it’s catchy. This is such an inspirational song as I listened to the meaning of what they sang.
“Run Away:” This is a good song to listen to when you’re feeling down, saying that nothing matters and that you can just “Run Away” and have that good time you want.
“Unlove You:” This is a different type of song on the album that is slower and has the emotional and passionate vibe of feelings.
“Be With You:” This is a straightforward type of song. It’s about that other person who you just want to spend your life and time together.
“Paradise:” This was the first time I listened to this song fully through and I really felt connected by the lyrics and what they are singing. I think featuring Manwell Reyes gave the song that special touch.
“Love You Like the Movies:” I have to say that this is my second favorite song off the album because the melody and harmonies on the song were on point and touching. I also liked the meaning behind the words they were trying to get across.
“Boomerang:” In this song, I thought the tapping in the background gave off a vibe of jamming out and moving to the beats of the tempo.
“I’m Not Going Anywhere:” Once again, having this song feature Manwell Reyes was genius and gave the song that extra push. I liked the instrumental parts of the song that flowed well together.
“Best Thing:” This song has a great tempo that worked well with a slow and steady vibe. It also expresses another message of that person you think is everything in life and you’re so happy to be with him or her.
“Give Me a Lifetime:” I think by ending the album with this song tied everything together by starting off upbeat and then ending with slower songs. This song has a great message and I listened to the song more than once because it was very inspiring.
Anthem Lights is a band of hilarious guys who have extraordinary talent. I have been there for the guys from the start and I am proud of how far they have come.

Blake Shelton's Bringing Back The Sunshine Album Article
Blake Shelton is an American country music singer and a television personality. In 2001, he debuted with his single “Austin” off his self-titled album.
In 2003, he released his second album, The Dreamer, as well as in 2004 he released his third album, Blake Shelton’s Barn & Grill. A few years later his fourth album Pure BS was re-released in 2008. That same year, his fifth album Startin’ Fires, which featured his then-girlfriend Miranda Lambert, was released.
Three years later, in 2011, he became the husband of country singer Miranda Lambert and released his sixth album, Red River Blue. His eighth album, Based on a True Story, premiered in 2013 and became an instant hit. The following year he made his ninth album, Bringing Back the Sunshine, which features Ashley Monroe and Raelynn.
Overall, Blake Shelton accomplished 24 country singles, including 11 number ones, and is a five-time Grammy Award nominee.
Here were my thoughts on the songs of his newest album.
“Bringing Back the Sunshine:” I do like the fact that Shelton started his album off with a faster moving song. I felt like he wanted to leave you with that sense of the whole album in one.
“Neon Light:” I really enjoyed the instrumental parts throughout the song. It goes well with the rhythm of the song as well as the lyrics.
“Lonely Tonight:” Having this song feature Ashley Monroe added that perfect touch of the song because it’s about two people not being alone. I think by having this song feature Monroe really added that extra power to the lyrics.
“Gonna:” As I listened to the song, I liked the part where he had the harmonies of the other voices in certain parts.
“A Girl:” This song had a slower tempo and mood. I was able to just focus on the lyrics and what Shelton was trying to say about that special person.
“Sangria:” I liked the fact that he had a song on the album titled “Sangria;” it really made me giggle, but listening to the lyrics was something I didn’t expect to hear. It was very interesting, but still incredible.
“Buzzin’:” This song has that country vibe and swing affect as I listened to the song. Raelynn has an incredible voice, which gave the song that extra lift in the lyrics.
“Just South of Heaven:” Listening to this song was a different feeling when I heard his lyrics and what he had to say, but it was really inspirational and kept me listening to the whole song.
“I Need My Girl:” I would have to say that this is my favorite song on this album. I really like his emotion and passion expressing what he really is feeling. It was very touching.
“Good Country Song:” This song gave the overall album that vibe it needed about having a song pertaining to having a country song. Everyone has to have that one song just talking about country.
“Anyone Else:” This is another slow song and as I was listening to it I wanted to grab my friends and sway back and forth. To have the special moment with your friends who are there for you.
“Just Gettin’ Started:” Shelton knows how to pick a great song to end an album with. This song has a fast tempo and gives you that vibe to dance and have fun. Shelton is also a judge on the singing competition The Voice along with Adam Levine, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams. He has been on The Voice since its premiere and his teams on seasons two through four had won the title of The Voice. Who will win this season? Make sure you tune in and watch.

Lady Antebellum's 747 Album Article
Lady Antebellum formed in 2006 and consists of Charles Kelley (lead and background vocals, guitar), Dave Haywood (background vocals, guitar, piano, mandolin) and Hillary Scott (Lead and background vocals). For those of you who aren’t familiar with the band, Scott is the daughter of country singer Linda Davis and Kelley is the brother of pop and country artist Josh Kelley. The just released their sixth album, 747, and here are my thoughts on the songs.
“Long Stretch of Love:” This song has a lot of passion and they sound fierce as they sing the lyrics. They picked a great song to start of the album.
“Bartender:” Even though I knew this song before the album was released, I have to say that it’s my favorite off this album. It just has a great melody throughout the song as well as the instruments accompanying the vocals.
“Lie With Me:” I really liked the meaning behind the lyrics; I thought it had inspirational words that were sung.
“Freestyle:” When I listened to this song I didn’t know how I felt about it, but as I continued to finish the song I really enjoyed the song. It gave me the feeling that to just have a good time and be free.
“Down South:” I thought the melody of the song had a smooth and persistent flow to the lyrics.
“One Great Mystery:” Having the song with a slower tempo and had the instruments played in a softer fashion, left the song with a perfect effect.
“Sounded Good At the Time:” I really liked how this song explained how there was a situation where everyone thinks it’s a great idea at the time, but in the end its not.
“She Is:” I think that after every girl listens to this song, they feel that it’s true that they are who they are. It doesn’t matter who she is, but it’s the feeling that every girls wants to me like her.
“Damn You Seventeen:” I feel that this song is something everyone can relate to with this certain situation that they talk about. It’s not the best feeling but it’s happened before.
“747:” This song has a great vibe that is sung and is accompanied by the instruments. It works well with the overall aspects of the song.
“Just a Girl:” This is another song that every girl can relate to and what they think when they meet someone who they appreciate. I think by having this song last really pulls the whole album and sums it up perfectly.
In my opinion, Lady Antebellum concerts are incredible and you don’t want to miss out on a great show.

Jill Jensen's Stages Album Article
Jill Jensen is a guitarist, pianist, saxophonist, violinist and bassist. She also plays the ukulele and drums. Jensen is a 22-year-old singer-songwriter from Massachusetts. She has been singing since the age of two and writing and composing her own music since the age of eight.
Since then, she released two albums, including her original songs. She has written and composed well over 100 different songs, which is incredible. She appeared on the X-Factor Season two in 2012, as well as American Idol XIII in 2014.
On July 8, she released her first single “In Your Arms,” and it’s a bonus track off her album Stages, which was released on September 15. This is what I thought of her heart-felt songs.
“I’m Movin’ On”: As I listened to this song, I enjoyed her vocals as she sang her heart out and you could feel her passion and intensity.
“Breakin’ You”: In this song having backup vocals for the harmonies was a great jester to the song. As well as the little giggle in between her lyrics, I thought it was a nice touch.
“I Deserve Better”: Jill’s voice in this song is steady throughout the whole song and she can hit those notes perfectly. I can feel her pain as she sings this song and she knows how to really connect with her fans through her songs. It’s very touching to hear.
“Who I Wanna Be”: To me this might be my favorite off her album, because it’s different from the other songs on the album. When I listened to it something about her lyrics hooked me and I couldn’t help but put the song on repeat.
“Lullaby”: Her lyrics for the song accompanied by the rhythm and melody, which flows together perfectly and gives the song that extra push.
“He’s No You”: Listening to this song, made me think how many people can relate to her message as saying that the person you look at is nothing compared to your significant other.
“Morning Thoughts”: I believe when you listen to this song it gives you a different perspective on the way others may think. It makes you wonder if you do the same as you wake up in the morning.
“Let Love Start”: This song took my mind deep into the song listening to the lyrics of what she was singing, and the message was remembering.
“Sit Back, Watch & Criticize”: In this song, you can really hear her raspy voice, which made the song stand out with her unique style. Having that tone as she sings makes her different because not everyone sounds like that when they sing.
“The Plan”: I think ending the album with this song was genius because it leaves the listeners with her passionate vocals. She also adds her own twist to the song and really holds out some of those notes.
Jill Jensen knows how to get the crowd ready for a show; don’t miss out on a chance to see her live.

Recently on September 9, 2014, he released his third album I Don’t Dance, which has two featured singles “I Don’t Dance,” and “Drinking Class.” Here are my thoughts on his latest album.
“I Don’t Dance”: Off this album, this song would have to be my favorite out of all the other songs. The melody throughout the song is very soothing and has that sentimental vibe as he sings.
“No Better Than This”: As I listened to this song, Lee had a steady rhythmic tone throughout the song, which went really well as a whole.
“Show You Off Tonight”: Listening to this song from beginning to end made me realize how much that special person in your life means so much and you want everyone to know.
“Always the Only One”: I really enjoyed the instrumental part in the song. The depth of this song was different from his other songs and gave off a more focused feeling.
“Good Man”: To me this song had an overall incredible tempo for the song, as it was more serious and you can feel that with the way it’s portrayed in the song.
“Drinking Class”: This song is perfect for people who want to sit back and relax and have a good time with some friends. Kicking it back and have some drinks.
“That Don’t Sound Like You”: I think that this would have to be my second favorite song off this album. I just like the over all sound and his lyrics are so touching.
“Girls In Bikinis”: The tempo of this song picks up, which gives this song that more “umph” feeling.
“Sirens”: I really enjoyed the intensity of the song as he sings the lyrics more rapidly. He just likes to have a good time and nothing will stop it kind of feeling.
“Somebody’s Been Drinking”: There is a slower tempo to the song and you’re able to follow as he sings his heart out. It was more sincere and really gets you emotional.
“Hard To Figure Out”: I really liked the fact that he sings about how it’s like while you wait for someone to arrive. The melody and harmony throughout the song is catchy and gets to you with the lyrics.
“My Carolina”: You can hear his passion for this song as he belts out some of the lyrics, which gives the song more form fitting to his message of the song.
“Panama City”: The over all message of this song is beautiful as I listened to the lyrics. It actually made me emotional throughout the song. I could feel the intensity and meaning behind the lyrics.
Lee Brice is currently on tour right now and you don’t want to miss out. He is also doing meet and greet with his fans—who wouldn’t want to meet Lee Brice?

Brad Paisley's Moonshine In The Trunk Album Article
Brad Paisley is an American, guitar-playing country singer-songwriter who recently released his tenth studio album Moonshine in the Trunk on Aug. 26.
In 1999, he released his debut album Who Needs Pictures; since then, he’s recorded nine studio albums and a Christmas compilation with Arista Nashville.
As of 2013, he hit 32 Top Ten singles on the U.S. Billboard Hot Country Songs chart, 18 of which have reached number one. He also holds the record of ten consecutive singles reaching the top spot on the chart.
Paisley has sold over 12 million copies of his albums and has won three Grammy Awards. Some of his other accomplishments include his 14 Academy of Country Music Awards, 14 Country Music Association Awards, and two American Music Awards. He has also earned country music’s crowning achievement, becoming a member of the Grand Ole Opry.
As for his latest album, Moonshine in the Trunk, I would have to say that my favorite song is “Perfect Storm.”
Here’s a list of what I thought about the rest of the songs on the album:
“Crushin’ It”: I thought the beginning of the song with the “Hey” was a good idea to get everyone to want to listen to the song. The background vocals throughout the song made a nice touch to the song as well.
“River Bank”: This song would have to be my second favorite off the album. The overall vibe of the song makes you want to just drop what your doing and party with friends.
“Perfect Storm”: The beginning of the song starts off instrumental and goes into an echo followed by Paisley’s lyrics. The melody of the music gives a good vibe and really gives you the chills when you think about how he feels about that special girl.
“High Life”: I thought the duet with Carrie Underwood in this song gave a stronger feeling to the lyrics and melody of the meaning and how it was portrayed. At the end, it was neat to listen to a little conversation between Paisley and Underwood.
“Moonshine in the Trunk”: I enjoyed the beginning of the song as it had it had the noise of turning on a truck, which gave a neat vibe to the start.
“Shattered Glass”: This song was a bit slower in the tempo which makes you want to sway back and forth while listening to the lyrics.
“Limes”: The tempo of this song was more on the slower side than the others but still had a great, steady beat throughout the entire song.
“You Shouldn’t Have To”: I thought the guitar solo in the beginning was nice and caught my attention; it kept me listening to the song. I feel like a lot of people could relate to what the message of the song is about.
“4WP”: The lyrics to this song are truly about that country swing and talks about trunks as well as relating it to girls who grab your attention.
“Cover Girl”: This is every girls dream to be that girl you see on the cover of a magazine. She is the one for you and she caught your eye out of a crowd of others.
“Gone Green”: I liked the beginning of the song with all the instruments including the banjo because it brought a country and southern vibe to the song.
“JFK 1962”: I thought the instrumental at the start of the segment was neat. This was a 54 second speech given by John F. Kennedy.
“American Flag on the Moon”: This song has a great message and the first time I listened to it, I just wanted to listen to the lyrics and focus on nothing else. This song actually touched me and gave me chills listening to what he had to say.
“Country Nation”: I thought this was a great song to end his album with because it has a great message to leave his listeners with. The instruments as well as the melody of the song gave off a dancing feeling.
Be sure to not miss Paisley on tour now; I promise, you don’t want to miss out on one of his performances. He puts on a fantastic show for his fans.

Maroon 5's V Album Article
Maroon 5 released their fifth studio album V on Aug. 29. The American pop-rock band got their start in 1994 in Los Angeles, California.
Originally, the band was called “Kara’s Flowers” when they started in 1994. In 1997, they signed to Reprise Records and released an album The Fourth World. In 2001, they went in a new direction, renaming themselves Maroon 5.
In June 2002, they signed to Octone Records and released their debut album Songs About Jane. They received a massive amount of feedback from airplay landing their debut album number six on Billboard 200 charts.
In May 2007, they released their second album It Won’t Be Soon Before Long.
This album reached number one on Billboard 200 charts, which was a great accomplishment for the band.
Their third album, Hands All Over, was released in September 2010, and quickly landed the number two spot on the Billboard 200 Chart.
In June 2012 their fourth album was released, Overexposed, which once again landed number two on the charts.
Maroon 5 signed to Interscope Records in 2014 and released their latest album V, and here is what I thought of their newest songs:
“Maps:” The vibe of this song is a bit different than their other songs, but they did a great job with the rhythm and melody of the song.
“Animals:” This song gives off a strong beat throughout the whole song.
“It Was Always You:” The song has a slower tempo, but the melody of the song still flows together perfectly.
“Unkiss Me:” I really enjoyed the beginning of this song and it drew me in to listen to hear what was next. This song has a relaxing touch and causes you to want to sway back and forth. I would say this is my favorite off the album.
“Sugar:” As I listened to this song, I had a different kind of response. I thought it was a great song; Adam Levine has an incredible voice, but when he went to a high pitch for some parts, it was just a little too much for me.
“Leaving California:” I liked the beginning of the song when it gets right into the lyrics and I think that the melody of the song made the sequence of the song flow better.
“In Your Pocket:” I felt that this song is strong in its own way. It has a great rhythm as well as the melody, which outlined the lyrics well.
“New Love:” The lyrics were very intimate and I could feel that push and power of how he was feeling.
“Coming Back for You:” The instrumental part in the beginning of the song was neat and gave the song a different kind of outcome. Through the lyrics, you can tell that no matter what he will be there for her and getting her back.
“Feelings:” They started this song off different by having him sing “ohhhs.” I think that this song was also interesting but still has a strong beat.
“My Heart Is Open:” Having this song feature Gwen Stefani and make it the last song was a great way to finish off their incredible album. I think Stefani made this powerful by adding her vocals to the song. It was a great duet and she is a fantastic singer.
As a whole I thought the album was definitely a different vibe from their past albums but was fantastic nonetheless.
Make sure not to miss out on season seven of The Voice, which features Adam Levine as one of the four judges.

Dan + Shay's Where It All Began Album Article
Dan and Shay is an American country duo composed of Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney.
The duo is signed to Warner Bros. Records Nashville. They released their debut album, Where It All Began, April 1, 2014, and will also be releasing their debut single, “19 You + Me.” This is what I had to say about their new album: “Show You Off:” It was a great way to start off their album. This song has a lot of potential and really gives you a positive vibe. “Stop Drop + Roll:” There is a strong sense of energy while listening to this song. It has a soothing kind of melody to the way the music is being played. “19 You + Me:” This song sets back a little and has a slower tempo. The lyrics are incredible and the meaning’s filled with affection. “What You Do To Me:” As I listened to this, I had to listen carefully at certain parts. They were very touching. “Can’t Say No:” This song has a slower pace and you’re able to let the music flow to the beat of the song. I feel as if this song fits well as a slow tempo with the words or the lyrics. “First Time Feeling:” We all know that first time feeling you get with the one who you can do everything with and feel magical inside. The lyrics to this song are incredible and touch your heart. “Nothin’ Like You:” When you see that other person and you feel that they are perfect and no one can be better. That person who just takes your breath away and you don’t know what to say. “Somewhere Only We Know:” At one point in the song, the tempo gets fast and then suddenly drops and gets slower. I thought it was a great change within the song. “Parking Brake:” As I started this song, I felt the rhythm of the song making me want to move to the melody. “I Heard Goodbye:” This is one of their slower songs, and it gets very intimate as they say goodbye to someone special to them. You can feel the sadness by the way Dan and Shay sing the lyrics. “Party Girl:” Another slow and steady song, saying how there is that girl they see who is someone who likes to have fun. She is the only one you think about. “Close Your Eyes:” The song portrays how you just want to imagine how life would be with that special someone, when it’s just you and them. There is nothing to worry about in life; just the two of you. You don’t want to miss these guys in action, so if you have the chance to catch them at a show, I suggest you go.

Frankie Ballard's Sunshine & Whiskey Album Article
Frankie Ballard is an American country singer/songwriter from Michigan. Ballard won Kenny Chesney’s Next Big Star competition back in 2008 and later opened for Chesney at Michigan venues.
In 2010 he signed to Reprise Records Nashville releasing his debut single, “Tell Me You Get Lonely.” In 2011 he released his second single titled “A Buncha Girls” which made the top 40. In 2013 he released his third single, “Helluva Life,” signed with Warner Bros. Records. He has released two albums; Frankie Ballard on May 24 2011 and Sunshine & Whiskey recently on February 11 2014. Here is what I thought about his new songs from Sunshine & Whiskey.
“Young & Crazy:” Starting off his album with this song, shows that he just wants to have fun and show everyone what he is all about. The rhythm and instrumentation for this song is impeccable. I was able to feel the true meaning to this song because I am young, yet I am not as crazy.
“Sunshine & Whiskey:” The song has great passion to the lyrics and great way to sway back and forth listening to lyrics.
“It Don’t Take Much:” The instrumentation in the beginning of the song before the lyrics start is neat. It starts off slow and then gets a little faster as the song goes on.
“Helluva Life:” This song is very soothing and relaxing as you listen to Ballard’s voice. It has a sentimental feeling to the lyrics and you’re able to understand the meaning.
“Drinky Drink:” In the beginning of the song you hear a harmonica, which is cool because you don’t really hear that kind of instrument within songs. Towards the end of the song you also hear the harmonica play a significant part of the song.
“Tell Me You Get Lonely:” While listening to this song you can hear his raspy voice as he sings, which makes your heart melt. I think this song shows what kind of artist he is and what he could do vocally.
“Sober Me Up:” This is another one of his slower songs and I actually listened to what he said throughout the song. It has a great message behind the lyrics, which fits perfectly with the song.
“I’m Thinking Country:” This song has a faster tempo to the beat, which made me move to the music. I feel as if you’re able to let loose to this song and act freely dancing.
“Tip Jar:” As I listened to this song, I was actually on the verge of tears because it had such a strong meaning to what he was saying. This song touched my heart more than the other songs on his albums.
“Don’t You Wanna Fall:” This is another slower song of the album, and while listening to this song the only words that were stuck inside my head were “Don’t You Wanna Fall.” I thought: yes, I want to fall!
“Don’t Tell Mama I Was Drinking:” I thought this was a great song to end the album with because it has that “touching” feeling to the melody. I liked the ending to the song when you heard the amplifiers being unplugged, which gave a neat sound.
I think between his two albums that Ballard has released, Sunshine & Whiskey would have to be my favorite because I feel these songs are more touching and heartfelt. He is on tour right now, so check him out if he’s coming to a venue near you.

On Nov. 19, 2013, they released their Simple Little Christmas EP with songs, “All I Want for Christmas,” “O Holy Night,” and more.
They just recently released their second album titled You Have My Heart, with single “Hide You Love Away.” If I may say, this album they have done is phenomenal. All these songs on their album have great meaning towards the lyrics, which made me think more about what I thought about each song.
“You Have My Heart:” This song was a great choice to put first on the album because it gets you ready for the rest of the songs that follow. The tempo of the song is fast and has great melodies throughout the lyrics.
“Follow Your Heart:” As you listen to the beginning of the song, it pulls your attention in with the different beats and rhythm. This song is perfect to listen to when you’re ready to have a great time and let loose with your friends.
“The Unknown:” This song is another heart-warming song and touches you with the lyrics. I feel as if this song has a lot of meaning to the words of the song and you can tell by the way they are being sung.
“Fight Forever:” The start of the song is very strong and it makes you listen carefully to see what is going to come next. This song has great harmonies throughout the song as well.
“Turn Around:” In the song they have the piano playing as it accompanies the lyrics and fits with the way the song flows perfectly. The piano gives the song a strong feeling because it has a distinct feel.
“That’s What I’m Looking For:” This song is a more upbeat song on their album. This song is different from the others on this album and it’s a great way to see a different side of Powell, Grimm, Graham and Stamper. This song would have to be my second favorite off this album.
“Light for You:” This song is also upbeat and has a positive vide throughout the song. The song makes you want to drop everything you’re doing and just jump around and feel free.
“Coming Home: This song is upbeat, but has a slower feeling as you listen to the entire song. As I listened to this song it has a soothing rhythm as well as the melodies.
“Hide You Love Away:” This song is a more sentimental feeling as you listen to what is being said and it’s a little slower than their other songs on the album. You can really connect to what they are talking about.
“Closer Than the Angels:” This song has a great vibe and you are able to listen and think about what they are trying to say. It has a great message as you listen carefully.
“Help You Stand:” The instrumentation for this song works well with the song because it gives you that feel to enjoy what you’re doing. It has a very powerful outcome of the song as well as a great message.
“Dear Hollywood:” Making this the last song on the album closes off with a strong feeling. It has a slower tempo but has an upbeat vibe to the song.
If you haven’t heard of this talented American Christian band, you are missing out and I suggest you check them out as well as see them live. You will not be disappointed.

Her debut studio album, Danielle Bradbery, was released on Nov. 25, 2013, which features her top 20 Country hit, “The Heart of Dixie.”
AP Photo
“Young In America:” The song has a very moving feeling to the way she portrays the melody and lyrics of the song. This is a fun song for everyone who can relate as young teenagers living their lives in America.
“Wild Boy:” While listening to this song I got the feel and vibe of a lot of power from the way she sings the lyrics. The harmonies that she has in the song work with the rest of the lyrics.
“The Heart of Dixie:” This song is very sentimental and has a lot of meaning behind the lyrics. Even though Bradbery never went through this experience, it doesn’t mean it’s not touching and heartfelt to others.
“I Will Never Forget You:” This song has a slower tempo, which makes you want to hold up a lighter and sway back and forth. By listening to the song you can hear what she is trying to say and actually feels like it’s impacting on her by the way she sings.
“Endless Summer:” The song picks up and has a lot more power to the melody. It’s interesting to hear the type of instruments she uses in this song, at one point you can hear a banjo playing if you listen closely.
“Talk About Love:” She can really hit the high notes within this song and then comes back down to a slower melody. This song has a loving message about two people in love. I’m sure everyone who has that special someone can relate to what is being said.
“Never Like This:” This is a more serious kind of song and Bradbery has that passion in her voice that sets off the mood of what the lyrics are saying. It’s a very touching song and lot of people can relate to what is happening.
“Daughter of a Workin’ Man:” This song has a more meaningful feel to it and the way her voice is being heard makes her fans get that chills inside, which is just how I felt as I listened to the lyrics.
“Dance Hall:” As I listened to this song it made me want to get up and dance, yes I know it’s called “Dance Hall,” but the rhythm and melody has that flowing feel.

“Collide:” The beginning of this song is very catchy with the piano followed by the lyrics. Towards the middle of the song starts the rapping which fits well with the organization of the song.
“Hollywood:” The start of the song jumps right in with the lyrics then comes in another voice that accompanies Miller’s lyrics.
“Me and You:” First the piano starts off the song with a melody then comes in a variation of sounds following Miller’s lyrics. This song is really catchy and pulled me in from the beginning to the end of the song.
“High Life (Feat. Jeremy Thurber):” It starts off with a female’s voice saying words then goes right into the music of Miller’s vocals.
“My Couch:” This song is also catchy with the melody and lyrics of the song. This is the kind of song you can dance and jump around to and have a good time.
“Homeless:” This song is a lot slower than the other tracks on the album. This song has an instrumental part at the beginning of the song, which is really pretty and fits well with the lyrics.
“Carry On:” As I listened to the beginning of this song, it had someone talk as if you were on an airplane. It was interesting but neat and worked well because the song is called “Carry On.”
“Heaven:” In the start of the song, it starts right off with lyrics then follows by rapping. This song is interesting as I listened to the lyrics of the song, and it’s clever and catchy.
“A Million Lives:” Wow! This song is really touching. It’s a more serious kind of song but it still has a great message to it. I liked the end of the song how it had Miller just say, “you saved my life.”
“Puppet:” It starts off with the piano then goes in with the lyrics of the song. The lyrics of the song have a meaning to the words of what he is saying about how he needs to go on tour all the time while leaving someone he truly cares about at home.
“Number One Rule:” It jumps right into the lyrics. As you listen to the lyrics they are passionate about what his career means to him. This is a creative song, and I think he did an awesome job with the lyrics fitting with the melody of the song.
Keep an eye out for this talented rapper/singer and songwriter who is on tour right now on, The Us Against Them Tour, with Action Item, and special guest Air Dubai. You don’t want to miss out on this tour.

“The Torment Of Existence Weighed Against The Horror Of Nonbeing”: I like how they start off the song with the la las. The beat of the song picks up throughout and it’s great to listen to what the lyrics mean since the title of the song is interesting.
“12 Through 15”: The beginning of the song is interesting because there is a few seconds of whispering, which is hard to understand, but then kicks in with the lyrics. It’s a slow and steady song with the guitar and drums lightly playing along.

“You Hear a Song”: The song has a slow tempo which makes you want to sway back and forth with all your friends while listening to her voice. To me, this song is emotional and touches you with what she is trying to say.

“Easier to Lie”: The lyrics to this song are very clever and you can relate to what she is saying if you have been through the situation she explains throughout the song.

I have to say out of his four albums my favorite one at the moment is his previous album “Crash My Party.” As I listened to each of the 13 songs, they all gave me a different vibe from the lyrics.

They also include a bonus track titled “One Night.” The band released their first full-length album Love Like This (Razor & Tie) back in 2009, and their sophomore album Everything’s Fine (Razor & Tie) in 2011.
F**k U Over: This song is very catchy, not only by the lyrics but by the rhythm and flow of how they put everything together.
Happy For You: The start of the song has the drums with Brian in the background singing quietly. This song has a calm rhythm and you’re able to listen to the lyrics and the meaning to them.
Jukebox: The start of the song is very catchy, it makes you want to get up and dance along. When Brian sings, “Life goes on, we have all night,” it makes you think and understand that it’s not the end of the world and to live your life.

Lighting in a Bottle: This song makes you want to jump around and dance like no body is watching. The title of this song is very catchy and fits with the rest of the lyrics.
Maybe Tonight: First, Brian starts off by just stating something, which makes you want to just listen to what he is talking about. He explains who they are by saying they are the “Half Moon Kids”.
Rescue: The thing that caught my attention was the beginning with the drums and rhythm as they were playing. Love the harmonies in the middle of the song to accompany Brian’s vocals.
Someday: At the start, it made me think of the time when it’s a slow song and you just sway back and forth holding up a lighter.
The Way We Were: Starting off, you have the piano, followed by Brian’s voice. The melody to this song is incredible and really fits with the lyrics.
7 Days: The song starts off very slowly and has a calmer melody. It is this point when everything winds down and you start to just listen of the meaning of what is being said.
Heart on the Floor: This song’s melody is also slower and then makes you want to clap along to the lyrics. This song makes me feel a part of a chorus, and it is a big sing along.
Boomerang: This song really catches your attention by the way they start off the song, with Brian’s lyrics. I would have to say it is a great party song to jam out to and sing along.
This summer, The Summer Set will be joining Vans Warped Tour; so if it is coming to your state don’t miss out to see them live. They really know how to get their fans pumped.
