Quietly she had stepped into the large, dark salon. Her long, elegant dress rustled as quietly as the warm fire in the fireplace. “No.” Her husband sat in one of the big, black wingback chairs and studied one of his ancient, yellowed parchments with an unmoved expression on his face. “But…” “My love, you know exactly what I think of such … events. Especially if it’s my ‘beloved’ brother who has loaded all the gods into Olympus. Thank you, it honors me that you want me to come with you, but I renounce it. ”

“Yes, yes, but you know… it’s been so long since there was a ball… and it’s a masquerade! I’ve heard, this time Hera really excelled herself… ”

“You don’t need me there.”

“Of course…!”

“Hecate will accompany you. And you look stunning, you will certainly not be bored there.” At these words he had looked up and briefly eyed her before smiling at her, faintly but admiringly.

“That’s nice … I’d rather have my husband with me than my advisor. Especially since Apollo will be there and you know how affectionate he can be. If he sees me in this dress… well …”

“Hecate is more to you than just a counselor, honey. But … Wait… Apollo will be there?”

“Yes of course. As if he would miss something like that … well … Then Hecate and I will go alone … oh, my love… just remember the last time when I was alone with him …!” Persephone sighed theatrically and turned around. With difficulty she bit back an amused grin. The countless centuries that they were together, she had repeatedly learned that her love was stubborn … very stubborn … at least if you did not know how to crack him… Hades eyes darkened, his jaw muscles tightening as his teeth pressed together.

“Wait here. I’ll be right back.”

When Hades stepped back into the salon and Persephone saw him in his best black suit, closing the last buttons, she couldn’t help but grin wide and satisfied. To be continued...

Her favorites were Ares, god of war and bloodlust and Adonis, the god of beauty.  She has many children, like Eros, Harmonia, Anteros... ⭐ Along with Athena and Hera, Aphrodite was one of the three goddesses whose feud resulted in the beginning of the Trojan War. She promised the ‘beautiful Helen’ to Paris, prince of Troy. ⭐

The two princesses of the world of the death. Daughters of Lord Hades and Queen Persephone.  The older one, Melinoe is the goddess of ghosts and illusions. Bringer of nightmares and madness. She is the eldest of the three children. Melinoe is totally beautiful, but also a little bit cold, irony and sometimes a bit dismissive. Her sister Macaria, the goddess of the blessed death. She leads the dying cautiously into the underworld. She is very sweet and kind, her fiance is Thanatos, the Death himself.  -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-

⭐.Queen of the underworld.⭐.Goddess of Spring and Vegetation.⭐

Persephone is the wife of Hades, Lord of the underworld. She is Demeter’s (harvest and vegetation goddess) and Zeus’ (king of the gods, ruler of the sky) daughter. (In my version:) She has three children with Hades, Melinoe - goddess of ghosts, Macaria - goddess of the blessed death and Zagreus - the dead god (he died after an titan attack but came back in to the underworld. He is not dead but also not really alive.)     She is a vegetation and spring goddess. Goddess of light, flowers and plants, but also the Queen of the Underworld, Queen of the death. Also known as “the iron Queen”. Ruler of the Death. Persephone is light and darkness in one. Former known as “Kore”.The maiden. After Hades took her into the underworld, her mother Demeter mourned so hard that the world freezed. This was the first winter on earth.  Six seeds sealed her fate and bound her forever to the realm of the dead. When Persephone comes back into the world of the living, after six months in the underworld, spring begins... ‘Bringer of spring’.  -*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*-*- 💎 Important!!! 💎 To make this clear, this is not my art! .The underworld goddesses.

.Nyx. ⭐

She is the Greek goddess/titan and personification of the night. A shadowy figure, Nyx stood at or near the beginning of creation and mothered other personified deities such as Hecate, Hypnos (Sleep) and Thanatos (Death), with her husband Erebus (Darkness). She prefers the darkness and seclusion of the underworld. She does not show up often, but reveal as a figure of such exceptional power and beauty that she is feared by Zeus himself.

Ancient underworld goddess and daughter of the titans Nyx (the night) and Erebus. Goddess of magic, witchcraft, crossroads, sorcery and necromancy.Hecate is a close companion of Hades and Persephone. The dark animals of the night obey her.
