when buck is laid up after an injury and has to miss work and eddie texts him during shift like “just thinking of you…how is my patient” and buck sends a pic of him and his broken arm “MISERABLE :(“ and eddie gets busy at work and can’t reply right away and buck ends up taking a nap and wakes up to three messages:

“lol i think you will survive, ill be home soon..”

“leaving work now sweetheart but don’t ask me to pick up another one of those shakes for you they’re starting to know me by name up there..”

*6 minutes later*

“ok what flavor do you want��”

and buck smiles at his phone and says thank youuu i want strawberry but right at that time he hears the truck pull in the drive and the door opens and eddie strolls in and it feels so so good to see him even though buck just saw him this morning and eddie looks so proud of himself as he says “i knew it :)” while walking over to the couch, holding a strawberry shake and he hands it to buck while leaning in for a kiss

Hen: Eddie literally hissed at anyone who flirted with you while he giggled at whatever you said! Buck: BUT WHAT IF HE MEANT IT AS A FRIEND?!
