Can we talk about how all of the Ninja’s names have some sort of pun or meaning?

Lloyd Garmadon was just a pun for the main villain Lord Garmadon.

Kai means either fire or water depending on the language and Smith refers to a black smith. His name literally translates to fire or water blacksmith.

Nya means purposeful or with aim and is a name to describe strong and powerful women. Nyad who she was named after means water nymph. So her name can be interpreted as powerful water nymph who also comes from a blacksmith family.

Jay Walker’s name is literally a pun on jaywalking which is really funny for some reason. His name Jay is also a reference to blue jays which are birds known for their silly playful natures. Jay is also slang for a person who talks too much.

Cole Brookstone’s name is literally referring to rocks in multiple ways. Cole literally means coal or charcoal and Brookstone means strong like stone or calm and stable.

Zane’s name means handsome and young. Zane meaning handsome and Julien meaning young. Which is interesting because he’s technically immortal and can’t age.
