hello! this is a place for my photos, artwork and creative processes. i've been around the sun twenty-one times, and i breathe in oxygen and spit out carbon dioxide in slow motion and in a rather graceful manner.. i observe, photograph, and document things, places, and people. i enjoy experiencing spontaneity, meeting enlightened folks, and witnessing beauty in the least expected places. i also have a dream of becoming a tambourine girl and travelling the world with other musical gypsies. i'm interested in different voices and views and that hunger will always fuel my curiosity. i want to make discoveries, photograph, film, document the beauties and share it all with those willing to witness. thanks for stopping by! People & Spaces
This project originally started with the idea of photographing people and their collections, until I quickly realized that I knew very little people who had traditional collections in their homes. It became clear to me that people's homes were informal collections in themselves, as people naturally do pick up things and add them to their space. This is where the project developed itself into an ensemble of photographs where people are juxtaposed with the details and space that I felt spoke about them most.
I did this project for my final semester in photography but I might continue this series, should any occasions or opportunities arise. For more work, check out my newly launched website.
