I would love to see a fantasy novel where the lore that the reader / protagonist learns at first is not true
#do this for sci-fi also#this post is required reading for any of the good Gundam shows#everytime you hear words like 'earthnoid' 'spacenoid' or 'newtype' you need to consider the personality and beliefs of who is speaking#honestly my favorite thing about the UC setting is how stubbornly unexplained 'newtypes' are from an objective view#but how subjective theories floated by various characters drive large portions of the plot and character motivations#I haven't seen GQUUUUUUX yet and my opinion of it will probably hinge on how well it keeps up the streak
