Also Headcanon: Sunset Shimmer has two large scars on her back and one lower down. These scars were the result of when she used the corrupted magic from the Element of Magic by accident and transformed into a demon; gaining two large wings and a tail.

At first; the scars would bother her whenever she seen them however now it doesn't bother her as much as she uses them as a reminder to show just how far she grown as a pony / person.

The scars can also be seen on her pony form as well but it's more harder to see due to the fur especially the lower scar which is well hidden by the tail.
