these 0-stat endings technically bad endings - usually some sort of death , whether body , mind , or spirit - but like , this one is real .

my question for bg3 players is if you got isekai'd into the game, as you are now, would your tav be at all invested in your survival? i know for a fact my tav would like me enough to assure mine but i'm afraid that might involve putting me on a dog tie out at camp for the duration of the entire game.
#depends on which one it is#my paladin durge would do everything possible to protect me and keep me safe bc they live for that chivalrous shit#but i fear I might take alfira's place in the plot 😬#my bard tav would probably put me on the windmill with barcus tho

I wish they'd let Wyll be angry, specifically: angry for himself, not just for other people. I wish they'd let him yell at his dad. I wish they'd let the player tell Wyll that it's okay to love your dad but still feel hurt and betrayed by him. Let the guy vent all that pent up negative emotion for goodness sake. Give him a scene or three where Theo Solomon could flex his voice acting skills.
#the one time we see anything like that is in the goblin camp when Wyll is goading you into attacking the leaders#which was really fun! I remember seeing him say that on my first playthrough and I was like ''oh? 👀 some intrigue from the folk hero?''#but as far as I can tell that scene is just leftover from his old storyline. It isn't even meant to be relevant characterization.

On the plus side, we got some aro rep from the newest Altador Cup entry, which is great!
On the minus side, TNT mixed up "flora" and fauna so the end result is the aro character in question setting a bunch of small animals on fire

armand is not an evil genius he is a yes, and-er. louis said could you imagine me without the burden of her armand said actually now that you mention it. louis said was it you who saved me armand said uhhh yes definitely. he is not plotting masterful long-term manipulative plans he is just good at improvising.

Tired of seeing people say Armand doesn’t understand Louis. That’s not the tragedy, my loves. Lestat cannot understand Louis or Armand or Nicki, not really, because he has this love of life that they lack. He is drawn to their melancholy but he does not share it. Armand and Louis are tragic !BECAUSE they understand each other BECAUSE they see each other but they cannot pull themselves or each other out of the melancholy. You don’t have to ship Loumand, but don’t look at their poetry and tell me it doesn’t rhyme.

The clip of all the paras sitting on the couch makes it seem like they made different animations for different personality types as well, which is AMAZING and far beyond what I would have expected from such a small team. I really hope that's part of the game, and not just staged for the trailer!!!
To me the most promising sign about Paralives so far is how detailed the "unimportant" animations are. Like, you can see the paras slouching in their chairs, sitting weirdly on the couch, that kind of thing. In my opinion, the reason that the Sims 2 felt so vibrant and alive was because of the detail in the everyday animations. The sims would actually open their cabinets and take out the right ingredients for the recipe they're cooking, the couch cushions would bend when your sims sat down, the pizza slices would flop over instead of sticking out straight like cardboard. So I was looking specifically to see if the Paralives team paid attention to mundane animations, and it seems like they have :^)

#the detail in the environmental/build mode stuff is just crazy also#I can't get over the grass#and the incredible sound effects#paralives

#EA has truly brainwashed sims fans bc people are actually complaining about paralives promising free updates forever#like there are people in the sims tag rn arguing in favor of paid DLC packs#people are acting like it's financial suicide to do free updates. they think games can't sustain themselves without paid dlc
