I love post-war slice of life Transformers fics.

I think there needs to be more of them featuring Shockwave and how he's coping.

He's a Scientist. Capital S. He doesn't know what to work on now that there are rules to follow. He doesn't have a goal, either. The amount of new and awkward social interaction is overwhelming.

He makes some fidgets but they only sometimes help. He goes through puzzle books at ungodly speeds. He becomes a rubix cube champion. Someone get this man a genome to sequence.
