It’s been a whirlwind week emotionally for me being pregnant & finding out my partner might not be able to stay around after the birth of our first born with lockdown in place where I am.

Then @taylorswift goes & turns that around for me & surprises us all with the type of album I have been waiting for! You little lyrical genius!

I am all here for the chilled out vibes of folklore and my little babe is already a Swifty fan & was kicking like crazy throughout listening to the full album! 💕💕💕

Hi all

This is a tough time for everyone and I am struggling to stay positive right now. At the end of 2019 I made the decision to leave my job due to burnout and it was starting to effect my health I was excited about a small break and a fresh start at something new. 2020 was going to be my year. Mid way through January I found out I was pregnant it was a big surprise and not at all planned but we decided we were ready to do this. Plans to take a break changed and I started looking for a job a little quicker. Fast forward mid March all events at shut down indefinitely the three event jobs I interviewed for all on hold indefinitely and me now getting to the stage I cannot keep hiding this pregnancy. But still positive and applying for pretty much anything. On the weekend I for the first time let myself be excited about this pregnancy rather than terrified, disappointed I let this happen or that I left my last job without one to go to and brought some baby clothes. Monday comes my partner receives the phone call we have been dreading his job has been cut to two days from April 1. We have a quarter of the income coming in I’m now even more terrified add in hormones and it’s been an awful day. I feel hopeless, sad, scared for what the future holds and how we are going to survive if this lasts longer than a few months. I know I need to keep myself healthy but also we need cash coming in to live. I also know there are people way worse off than me but this year just keeps dealing blows this way and I don’t know how much more I can take it’s getting scary out there. If you’ve made it this far thanks for reading it’s been helpful getting all this out hopefully tomorrow I might be feeling somewhat more positive about things. Hope everyone is staying safe out there, look after yourself xx

Can truly say 2020 is becoming the most bizarre year ever...

Who would have thought having so much devastation worldwide would cause things from 2016 to come back up again. I’m glad everyone can see Taylor was telling the truth we all knew it anyway let’s be honest here ... others just trying to stay relevant. I know who showed more class than ever throughout this whole situation and she still is. Best we all stop giving it air time and go do what she said on her insta post DONATE!

I was watching Taylor on Tiny Desk Concert and she made a comment saying all the songs on the Lover album were created acoustically so they can ALL be performed this way.

@taylorswift can you pretty pretty pretty please release an all acoustic album ... if Welcome to New York could be included on that it would be AWESOME! This would then become my favourite album I love listening to you play acoustic ... always my favourite part of your tours!

I loved this article.

Especially this response. I just turned 30 in August and was asked the same question many a time. I wouldn’t change anything, although I have had a really tough two years at my current work and that has really taken its toll on me mentally. Today I resigned from that role...no job to go to (just yet) but I made the decision that it was time to stop. Time to stop trying to be there for everyone and prioritise myself, my health, my boyfriend, friends and family. This was a hard choice with the future unclear but I know that those people will support me with whatever decision I make and just want me to be happy.

@taylorswift thanks for sharing your words and thoughts with us as always. I feel you have had some hard decisions and life choices to make and it’s really nice to hear that you have learned from each one are prioritising those who mean the most to you and yourself. Which is the most important thing that everyone should be doing.
