Chapter 13 - Picture 3
In this panel we get a huge information, which could lead to future story development. I am not talking about Aguero Agnis here.
The big information we get here is that there was a fight in the Koon family.
We somehow know that being in one of the 10 great families is kinda crazy. Look at Elaine’s (Kaiser’s) backstory.
But here we have confirmation for an intern crisis in a Family, which was so big, that even outsiders would notice it. I am willing to bet that SIU will come back to the Koon family fight somewhere later. I think it is going to be directly tied with Aguero’s backstory.
And don’t forget that the Koon family is actually one with pretty big influence. So a fight inside the family would lead to a power change in the whole tower.
And this information was just like that thrown in by SIU.
And btw, there are probably more “abondoned sons”... i am looking forward to actually see another one ( I doubt Koon Ran is one, since he is from the same branch as Maschenny).

Chapter 13 - Picutre 1 & 2
First of all, the picture with the Pocket is from the last panel of Chapter 12. But here it really gets important.
To pass the test, “You just had to open any door within 5 minutes”. Look at the pocket. They did not open a door in 5 minutes. Regarding the tower’s nature, i somehow doubt that anyone, who is even off just one second, would pass the test.
So there is a reason why Yu Han Sung gave them a small grace period.
And i don’t even think thats a complicated one. FUG needs Baam to fulfill their thousand year old plan. Yu Han Sung is a key member of FUG. Imagine him murdering Baam here. That was no option to begin with i think.
So now you could ask, why didn’t he kill Koon and Rak, and pretend that Baam died, too, so that they can train him from now on. It would be a much faster way then letting Rachel push him.
The thing here is: The reason why Baam did everything FUG said after the push was that FUG was threatening to kill his friends. At this moment, i don’t know if this would work for them. FUG wouldn’t have any hostages to hold Baam in their place (Note that in this scenario Koon and Rak would be dead). Thats why Yu Han Sung is letting them pass the test. Normally they failed, even if its just by one second.
But the tower is a messy place, and if you are a chosen Irregular FUG needs to accomplish their dreams... you get one extra second on the clock :>

Chapter 12 - Picture 1 & 2
Chapter 12 was pretty straightforward.. we have the “10 Door Test” and basically Koon thinking the whole chapter. I was pretty unlucky that there was no minor detail i could talk about. Instead, i’d like to focus on the beginning of the chapter, where we have one of the only pieces of Koon’s backstory so far.
So Koon’s backstory is involving 2 more people. Maria Koon and his Sister (who has no name...). Those two fought to be a Princess of Zahard. But it seems that Maria and Aguero Agnis had some sort of relationship (it looks like they were lovers) and Aguero Agnis helped Maria and not his sister in some way. That was the reason why his Sister lost.
But looking on the last panel it seems like his sister is apologizing to Aguero Agnis. Thats the twisted part of his backstory. We don’t know if his sister is alive or not, but she takes all the blame on why she didn’t make it, disregarding that Aguero “betrayed” her. Maybe she don’t even know.
And this just leads to an inner conflict for Aguero Agnis. I am pretty hyped to see the truth to all this. It could lead to crazy story development. Imagine Koon siding with Maria in future and abandoning Baam. Well, i guess, only SIU knows how he will handle all this. And if Koon’s Backstory is not even touched at chapter 300-something, i think it will have a major role later on.

Chapter 11 - Picture 3
This panel is from the beginning of the “5 Minute”-Test. It’s something like the introduction to Yu Han Sung. And i just love the detail here.
We know that Yu Han Sung is somewhere associated with FUG. He is part of the plan to get Baam in the last test. In his introduction panel he seems pretty nice and polite. And here comes the background to play.
Everyone has to admit that this looks like blood. It seems threatening and it should be. This could either be the blood of the Regulars who failed this test and got murdered or this could just be some red design of flowers and whatever. But the thing here is, in his very first moments Yu Han Sung is introduced with a background that just looks threatening and dangerous.
Even if he only shows his polite side, deep down this man has a plan to capture Baam. I don’t want to say he is evil, since everybody in the tower is evil somehow. But at the end of Season 1 we know why he should seem threatening to us. And SIU showed us from the very beginning, just in a hidden way.

Chapter 11 - Picture 2
So in this picture we could heavily focus on Koon and the bag. It’s some major foreshadowing for the Crown Game and a nice detail by SIU to add in here.
But it is already known what happens with the bag in future and why it is somehow more difficult for Koon to get it through the Shinsoo. So there is no fun in that.
I would rather speak about the background in the first picture. We see Rak’s cape, as he easily goes through the Shinsoo Veil.
We already know that he swam through Shinsoo to hunt so it’s just natural that he can walk through the veil. But for most of the Regulars on floor 2 this is not just natural. We can see here that Rak probably is one of the strongest F2 Regulars.
This is forgotten fast, since the Floor 2 Line Up is pretty crazy with 2 Princesses, 2 Irregulars and a few candidates from the 10 great families.
And then there is Rak, which will get his moments later in the story.. i am sure :>

Chapter 11 - Picture 1
This is the moment Lero Ro talked to a regular about Shinsoo. There is not really something super interesting here, we pretty much know that Shinsoo allows you to make crazy things with it.
The interesting part here is that we have the first mention of Enryuu. Note, that this is floor 2 and the 11. Chapter in ToG. Why is SIU introducing him so early?
Is it really just to show how Shinsoo can be used or is this some kind of foreshadowing? Maybe even for the Baam = Enryuu’s Creation theory?
Or maybe this is foreshadowing for the thorn, and in particular the FoD?
We can’t know, but is sure is that SIU had his story already pretty well planned.

Chapter 10 - Pictures 2, 3 & 4.
Here we have Baam thinking about who to choose for the bet with Lero Ro (The bet was “Who will pass this test first”.)
It is clearly stated that Baam can see who has the most potential / shinsoo resistance to go through the Shinsoo Wall.
The thing here is, i am not sure where in the whole Story until now (Chapter 315) Baam has used this ability again. I think it is rather unusual that SIU introduces a new “ability” ( And this was introduced over 4-5 panels) and that he never comes back to it. There has to be some deeper meaning here. Maybe Baam will utilize this ability in the future. Maybe this was just there to show that Baam has a special connection to Shinsoo itself. Like, the Shinsoo allowing him to see the person he is looking for.
It is pretty weird and can be interpret in different ways. I am just here to show you guys panels like these so you can make your own opinion (Which is the fun part at theorizing after all).
^^This panel follows.
Bam is directly saying that he has a feeling. It somehow seems like the Shinsoo itself was whispering to Baam to tell him the answer. Maybe we can see “Shinsoo itself” as a force in future? Maybe the Shinsoo represents the will of the tower and is speaking to Baam here? All highly theoretically.
We don’t know, and at the current point.. we can’t even know.
Btw Lero Ro’s look seemed like he saw that Baam is not just having a feeling. I think future will tell what the meaning to all this is.
Have a nice day :>

Chapter 10 - Picture 1
Okay guys, for the first time, i don’t want you to focus on the art/panel but on the speech bubbles. This is not Baam talking and this is not Lero Ro talking. These are the voices of Regulars who are currently trying to get through the Shinsoo wall. I think that is like the only representation of what a Shinsoo Attack feels like if you would get hit by one.
The Regular says: “It is ok to just touch it” - that would be the equivalent of living and breathing in a shinsoo environment. After that the Regular states “But when i try to push, i feel a twinge”.
Here the Regular want to get through the shinsoo. Imagine the same concept, but not that the person wants to go through the shinsoo, but rather that the Shinsoo wants to go though the Person. This is probably what a Shinsoo Attack is. Here it is just a twinge. Imagine someone throwing Shinsoo at you with the intend to kill. That would probably be more than a twinge.
I don’t think that there was any point in the story where we get to know what exactly “feel” you get when you’ve been hit by Shinsoo. This is probably one of the only informations we have on this topic. - And it isn’t really much information... still worth mentioning here :>

Chapter 9 - Picture 1
Chapter 9 is ver special. I think most of my readers know exactly what happened on this “pretest” were Lero Ro created a wall of Shinsoo to test who can actually go through the shinsoo and who can’t. When he was pushing everyone away to create the wall, almost everyone fell back - except Bam. The Shinsoo had no effect on him at all. Well i could analyze what that means for the future etc., but there were a lot of theories based on this and i don’t really want to focus on these things much on the blog. I want to look at the smaller picture and show details that weren’t shown.
The interesting thing here is how Lero Ro reacts. He states that he made a mistake, but actually he knows that he made everything in the right way. Even Koon has noticed this, and by the looks of Anaak and Laurel (who woke up bcs of this) other characters also noticed that Bam is not ordinary.
So why did Lero Ro say it was his mistake? Why didn’t he let Baam go back and forth through the wall to pass the test? - Without looking at “Luck” that is.
I think if Lero Ro has acted differently, Baam would’ve been noticed too much by the other Regulars. He would be considered one of the strongest, but in reality at this moment.. he really isn’t. Lero Ro is hiding Baam’s (hidden) power from the Regulars.
Maybe he didn’t want to create a fuss about it, maybe he didn’t want to show the other regulars that there are people who are that much more blessed than they are.
Regardless, this is probably one of the most important moments in Season 1, and if you haven’t read any analysis for it, i highly recommend to do it. :>

Chapter 8 - Pictures 2 & 3
So this is just a small step into Koon’s mind.
When the task came up, that each regular shall find a team Koon logically approached Rak to join his team. If you look at this scenario, the only logic answer for Rak would be that to accpet Koon’s offer. But he just ignores the fact and wants to hunt his prey. I love the fact that Koon just starts to fight Rak’s nonsense with his own nonsense. Rak wants to fight? - Lets give him a fight.
The second really funny thing here is, that we probably can see one of the rare mistakes SIU does. It was clearly stated that everyone fighting from now on will be eliminated.
^^and they have been fighting.
So normally, those 3 (maybe not Bam since he really haven’t done anything) would be eliminated. (Well if Koon and Rak were eliminated, i doubt that Bam would find teammates anyways). Imagine the Tower of God story just ending here :>
SIU is just human. A mastermind human that is, but he still makes mistakes.

Chapter 8 - Picture 1
This is actually a very good example on what i really want to highlight in my blog.
I hope you guys all remember the “Hunger Games” - Test on Floor 2. The first really “normal” Test in the tower for Bam. The task was to reduce the number of Regulars from 400 to 200. Just think a bit which big shots have really been fighting to actually reduce the number of Regulars? Anaak and Hatsu fought each other and Rak and Koon had their own.. conflict. Laurel was probably sleeping. So how did the Number decrease that fast? If there were pairs that were fighting on equal strength, 200 deaths would take pretty long. (If you remember the actual Hunger Games Movie, maybe you know how long it even takes for 24 people to kill each other. Well, this is a bit different from the Hunger Games movie.
If you look pretty closely on this panel, you may notice that this Demonic Boy (his actual name is Aleksai Amigochaz btw) is sitting on a pile of Corpses. He is one of the reasons the Number of living Regulars went down so fast. Imagine Anaak going on rampage and killing every regular she saw. Well, this guy did exactly that. And if you remember the end of Season 1, we see that his spear bearer skills are comparable to Season 1 Rak. So even Rak could go berzerk and kill alot of regulars.
At the end, the information we can get here is that even on floor 2 there is a huge difference between Regulars. Aleksai isn’t even considered one of the strongest regulars on the second floor and he cleared, it looks like, alot of regulars.
The second information we get is that Rak could have done probably the same on Floor 2. He just chose not to.

Chapter 7 - Picture 1 & 2
Well, Chapter 7 was lacking deep stuff.. this is the only thing i could really say something to.
Here Koon sees Bam having the Black March and instantly reacts. Koon sees that Bam is, between the other regulars on Floor 2, quite special.. in his own way. Koon has alot of experience regarding the tower and how things work in here, while Bam has almost none. It seems that koon is just teaming with people where he thinks he will have most fun / the most interesting journey.
I think that it’s funny that the relationship between Koon and Bam starts by Koon wanting to use him, and later Koon needs Bam. But this develops already in Season 1 so it is not that far streched.
Btw, i love how SIU stayed consistent with Koon’s Hairstyle since it plays a role later in the King’s game.

Chapter 6 - Picture 3
Here is a panel with a little funny detail. It’s the moment where Koon decides to help Bam and hits Rak with his Bag.
I really doubt that glorious leader Rak Wraithraiser would be hurt that much by a simple bag, and here comes the cool part.
Koon’s Bag is heavy. We know that he stored several people in it to have allies later on. Due to Koon being from one of the 10 great Families he probably also has the strength to hold the bag. So the reason Rak was punched that hard was probably due to the Bag being super heavy.
I thought that was a cool small detail. Not that important, but cool nonetheless. It is awesome to see that SIU even throws in minor details which can only be understood if you have read the later stories.
I don’t have really much more to say to capter 6. I don’t think that will change in future.. since this part of the story is more about fighting and introducing new characters. But i hope i’ll find more things in the next chapter. Stay tuned :>

Chapter 6 - Picture 2
Since Rak is not really getting much screentime at the moment ,(last thing we saw from him is right after Name Hunt) many started seeing Rak as a comic relief character by now..but i doubt that heavily.
This panel shows Rak looking to hunt and he instantly notices the presence of Green April. He even admits that Anaak would probably be a difficult hunt. Right after that he notices a “similar” Power - the Black March - and starts hunting Baam.
From this point on, i started to think that Rak will have a great influence in the future story. He has the ability to “feel” the 13 Month Series. We now know how important these weapons will be in future, and i theorized that there is a foreshadowing which involves Headon and the 13 Month Series. (My previous posts).
We still don’t really know any backstory to Rak, either. Which is rather unusual for SIU, because there are other characters (who doesn’t seem that interesting) which got a backstory. So how comes we don’t know anything about “1 of the Big 3″ yet? I think Rak’s Story will be shown when he becomes a huge part to the story...
And I think there will be a time Rak will really shine. SIU introduced Rak and directly tied him with the 13 Month Series, i somehow doubt that can be coincidence.

Chapter 5 - Picture 1 & 2 (& 3)
Well, there is really not much room to find something deep. It is pretty straight froward. Bam is now on Floor 2, fighting to survive the “Hunger Games”-Test.
I still found a cool thing. Notice that when the perspective switches from Bam to Koon, they have the exact same “Camera Angle”. This is probably the first ever foreshadowing that the relationship between Koon and Bam will become something very important, since Koon shares this camera angle with the main character. If he would be some side character who only appears on F2 (Hoh f.e.) i doubt that he would be introduced in this way.
I hope the next chapters will contain some cool small details, Chapter 5 was lacking those. Still a great Chapter... btw here we saw the first lighthouse ever in ToG
^^just a funny anecdote. Have a nice day. :>

Chapter 4 - Picture 2,3 & 4
First i wanted to make two different posts regarding the next panels, but they do fit together perfectly. The first one above is somewhere in the middle of Chapter 4. If you have read my other posts, you will see that i often assume that Headon is not only talking to Yuri or other people in that room, but also talks to Rachel, who is in a side room and watching everything. So here Headon says:” I just prepare a test that is equivalent to the value of their wish.”.
The cool thing here is, Rachel and Baam would both have the same test on Floor 1, but for complete different reasons. Rachel’s wish is to see the stars,, and climb the tower no matter what. On the other side we have Baam. His only wish right now is seeing Rachel, getting her back to his life. Not climbing the tower and not getting any wish granted at the top. He just wants to see her. So Bam’s desire to find Rachel is just as big as Rachel’s desire to get up. The big difference here is, that Bam is able to complete the Test, while Rachel was not even trying it. Their wishes have the same value, but there is a huge difference between them. Bam can walk his own path, while Rachel herself can’t.
^so these are the panels right after Yuri, Evan and Bam went away.
I somehow think that this is confirming my theory that Headon was also talking to Rachel the whole time. The same smirk everytime. Headon’s plan not only consisted of “sending Bam up” and “something with the Black March”, no he also manipulated Rachel with everyting he said. Awakening her anger and rising her hatred (not sure if i should call it hatred.. but i hope you get what i mean) against Bam. We don’t know why he is doing this, but i’m hella curious to find out.
Well, Chapter 4 was mostly straightforward. Those 4 Panels were the only ones i could really find where i could say something you probably didn’t knew. I think ill post Chapter 5 this evening. Have a great day, and thanks for reading this :>
